we need all the picks we can get. I'd trade a 5th for a 4th and 6th any day

yeah Ill miss the injuries...But the injuries have piled up since. Starting with Week 1 of the 2022 season, Lattimore has played in 24 of a possible 43 games.

His days of being injured are now gone.

His contract was restructured in the off-season to make a trade a possibility, if it came down to it

Go away. You're not smart enough to follow the NFL.

do we know that yet

As far as I know yes. That’s exactly how it works because of the restructure.

i know that, just waiting to see it updated on overthecap. they still have him on our roster. seems getting the skins to take on more of that contract would be part of deal.

I like that extra day 2 pick. Draft capital looking pretty solid.

People are acting like throwing in a 5th should have got us a 2nd.

That's a good conversation. I'd rather two picks instead of one.

Latt and the 5th for a 2nd and 6th

Or

Latt and the 5th for 3 4 and 6

what is the definition of premium? if this shite is a 4th
fire sale and the guy has not been good lately. If they get anything above a 4th, then they won trade. But dont expect it

Good. It will be painful process, and I will hate to watch Lattimore in another uniform, but it's for the best for both parties.

Let the rebuild begin.

Loomis is the worst GM in the league today. Not so much for making this trade but for putting the team in this no win situation. The trade is an absolute windfall for the "Redskins". The cap hit is on the saints and the skins are only on the hook for $607k this season and then have no guarantees after this season.

Meanwhile the saints carry a HUGE cap hit for 2 more years for a player playing for another team.

Getting 3 picks back and giving up 1 is good for us here. We need as many picks as possible.

Build culture. Develop young players. Clean the cap.

We are paying those dollars whether or not he's on the team. This team is officially rebuilding, I'd rather us have the 3 picks we got back and not have him here because by the time we're able to potentially be good again, he'll be old.

People should be happy. The way they did this trade signals that they know this is a full on rebuild.
