Seems like we always had one of the most difficult with Drew. It’ll be nice to see a bunch of win-able games when the schedule is released.

Except Baltimore, Cincy, Chicago, and Detroit just had a down year last year and all have great franchise QBs. They could all be great this year. This schedule is harder than it looks on paper.

No it isn't. Raiders, Cardinals, Browns, Vikings, Pitt, Giants and our 6 division games are all easily winnable games.

Bal, Cincy, Chicago, Detroit, and GB are our toughest games. You can't just list the few hard opponents and say its tougher than it looks.

If Chicago had a down year last year then they are winning a superbowl this year.

We just don't have the pleasure of playing Miami or NYJ.

This is why some of us said losing to the Falcons in week 18 last year was a good thing

Chicago won their division and were the 2 seed, how is that “down year”?

ETA the last time the Bears had a winning season was 2018 and the last they made the playoffs was 2020, so definitionally it was the opposite of a “down year”

Damn, I remember when 11 wins and the 2 seed were a down year

The Vikings were just in the playoffs in 2024, Pittsburgh made the playoffs last year, and the Giants have a legitimate QB going into his 2nd year. Atlanta and Tampa always give us problems regardless of how they do against everyone else. So, Raiders, Cards, Panthers, and Browns are the only easy games.

You never really know from year to year. But the home slate looks good for the most part. The international game is a TBD.

Below is my post from another thread with our 2026 opponents.

quote:

Home games
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
Arizona Cardinals
Las Vegas Raiders

Road games
Atlanta Falcons
Baltimore Ravens
Carolina Panthers
Chicago Bears
Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
New York Giants

Unknowns are how the team will handle an international game, and how the team will react with leaders like Demario and potentially Cam not returning.

Our home slate looks really good for us. Vikings and Packers seem like the two we need to be most worried about. The Vikings defense is stout and they always give us problems. I think we win at least 5-6 of those games.

The Bears, Ravens and Lions will be tough road opponents. I think the Giants will be better, but not that good.

I think 8.5 is a good line for this team. Winning the division is definitely in play.

“Easy” schedule in the NFC does not mean games you win “easily” like LSU vs McNesse or some Sun Belt team. It’s the overall quality of your opponents and every one in the NFCS had a losing record that’s 6 games right there plus vs 1 division from the NFC and one AFC The biggest benefit is the remaining 3 games vs teams that also finished last in 2 other NFC divisions and 1 AFC, for the Saints that the Giants, Cardinals and Raiders instead of the Commanders 49ers and Chiefs. There can always be a surprise but I’d rather play the Giants, even if they do take a jump up, than the Chiefs and 49ers

With a QB who just won a superbowl in Seattle.

Without Lamar/ Burrow in the fold. And with Rodgers...

Giants have a legitimate QB going into his 2nd

You should look up how he did against us last year vs Rattler with a shittier defense and get back to me.

Atlanta and Tampa always give us problems regardless of how they do against everyone else

And we always give them problems too, the point is that those are usually very winnable games.

Had an actual QB that year.

Had an actual QB last year (and still BARELY made it).

Giants
Fair. They have issues elsewhere but I do think Dart can be a good QB.

Rodgers will be back in Pittsburgh. Who knows if McCarthy will stay healthy and can actually be a legit option for them so thats a fair point.

They have a great defense. They won 9 games without a QB last year. Kyler sucks, but he’s better than anything they had last year.

He threw five interceptions against us last year. They have 3 pass rushers and no run stopper now. They will be better coached, but I don’t see them being very good this year.

A realistic goal is winning our division this year. I see no reason we can’t.

Kind of why losing that last game and finishing at the bottom of the division was a big deal.

He sucks healthy or not
The Rodgers Pittsburgh tram barely made it in the playoffs despite Lamar and Burrow having down years due to injury.
