We are going to need to dump salary anyway, so it makes sense to offer a good package of talented players that we can't keep anyway. If you can get a talented QB on the roster, you have to go for it.

Would not be surprised if they came up with a package something like:

Lattimore (saves 10.2mil)
Tag+trade hendrickson
2021, 2022, and 2023 1st round picks
2022 and 2023 2nd round picks

CBS Sports proposed Saints-Seahawks trade:

Saints:
Russell Wilson
2022 4th Rd
2023 5th Rd

Seahawks:
Taysom Hill
Ryan Ramcyzk
Cam Jordan
2021 1st Rd
2022 1st Rd
2022 2nd Rd

I would take that if we could substitute Ramcyzk for literally anybody.

That is more than I would give TBH. I wouldn't part with 3 firsts, an all-pro DE, and a top 5 young RT (possibly future LT) in the league with additional assets.

I would do 2 firsts, Hill, Davenport, and Latt. If Jordan is a deal breaker, I would part with him if we change a 1st to a 4th. Ram is absolutely off the table.

Really though I think they would take 3 1sts. I think we would rather trade players, so sub studs for firsts and it becomes doable for both teams.

Surprised I haven’t seen him mentioned at all yet, so curious if Kamara could be a potential target for Seattle since Wilson is reportedly unhappy with Carroll’s focus on the run game anyway.

Not sure what the salary ramifications would be for both teams, but it makes more sense than Thomas imo, since RW would want an elite option at WR and they are loaded at WR anyway.

Love Kamara, but Wilson is an absolute must get if the two sides are close imo. RBs, even elite ones like him are far easier to replace than finding an MVP QB.

That might be the piece that lets us keep the OL and D the most intact, since he’s also a superstar they can use to replace RW as a draw for fans and Carroll gets the centerpiece for his run game.

No idea why this got downvoted. Those two guys are two of the better WRs in the league and their defense only improved last year when they started playing a bunch of shitty offenses

Also, we probably wont be able to pay Lattimore top CB money which can range from 15-20 a year. It only makes sense to include lattimore.

Getting rid of Thomas with Russ coming in makes no sense to me.

Russ is too old to give up Cam, Ram, and 2 firsts. That’s 2 all pro players AND 2 firsts for an aging QB

Giving up lattimore is not perfect

I could see 2 firsts, peat, and something else, probably another 3rd

I wouldn't give up ram.

I'd give them cam jordan and 2 firsts and laugh.

The thing with wilson is you can get around not having an elite o line so you can give them peat or ruiz. I wouldn't give them ram, mccoy, or terron.
Wilson makes it so much easier on offense.

Not evwrything has to be perfect to win. That's why you absolutely make this trade.

That "proposed trade" is ridiculous when comparing it to the others they propose for other teams. Take out Ramcyzk for sure.

I don't see the saints giving up ram in almost any trade.

Id rather keep ram over a first round pick.
