Underhill mentioned that the Saints tried really hard to get him last year after Carr signed

Lattimore is way too good. You want Adebo as your #1? Don’t think he’s ready for that yet

With that Albatross of a cap number for this year, they can have Latt or a 3rd, AND pay his salary.

The raiders weren’t interested in trading him at that time

Giving up a future pick isn’t the issue, it’s the dead money and cap.

I’m not sure how we get around that even if he is willing to redo is contract.

willing to redo is contract.

He will basically have to redo his deal for any team he goes to. The kicking the money to 25,26,27,28, and 29 is the problem.

Isn't it kinda already burnt down with the money they have been kicking to 25, 26, and 27. Every contract on the roster has dummy years on it.

It will probably end up costing whoever gets him a 3rd rounder and your dumb arse wants to throw in Lattimore as well. A clue is a good thing to have.

The Raiders eat the dead money

We should be able to cut him without issue, unless he has more guaranteed money we would assume

If we gonna make this trade, might as well go all-in on an olineman and/or pass rusher. Try to contend this year and next, and then just suck for a couple seasons to clean up cap and reload
