Edit: This hasn't been posted as a thread. This has to happen. Super Bowl is a real possibility

Yeah and they will be the team that gets him for so much less.

They drive me up a wall with being involved in EVERY SINGLE big name target.

The Saints can’t outbid the Patriots. Wonder how bad they want him.

This just makes so much sense for the saints. Solves a corner and punt returner problem. Plus a top guy in the locker room and instant leader on the defense.

I just don't see why they would trade him to us if pats are interested. Trade him out of NFC, and they still have a 1st

Not really like the Patriots to do something like this. Not for a player that’s 28 and not on contract for that long

Because their window is closing fast, Brady is regressing, you're finally seeing it. Deep balls look bad. Short and intermediate look wobbly. Their offense needs balanced running game and they have that with Sony.

But really, defensively they need to be able to handle kc, they know that, we all know that. Peterson can help that and make life easier.

Still, they’re history shows they’re not willing to overpay. Saints and Eagles have both been known to over pay. Still, I don’t think we have the capital.

I’d rather go for a low cost-high floor guy like Conley

Swing for the fences. Pat p has never missed a game I’m pretty sure in his career. Not only is he the best corner in the nfl but he’s always healthy.

This trade will be New Orleans or no other location. The big tie end is not necessary LSU. Peterson’s wife is from New Orleans. He’s in town quite a bit during the summer months.

The Saints are aware of this. Mark Ingram was aware of this predicate on his twitter comments. Look for the Saints to give up a 2nd this year and their number one for next year.

Which is fine by me. He is still legit and dominant. Has to happen. And I expect it to happen also.

I love Peterson but he is not worth a 2019 2nd and 2020 1st.

I would do our 2019 2nd, our 2020 1st and 3rd for Peterson, Cardinals 2019 4th and the Cardinals 2020 2nd.

That way the Cardinals still get a pair of high pick while the Saints recapture one back. Petersons contract makes him slightly less value than Peters

He’s under contract for two more years right? This year and next year? I wouldn’t mind two years of Pat Pete if it meant Brees also plays next year. We’d have a legit chance to repeat

That’s a good way to look at it. I think I’d be fine with that

Honestly, the thought of Patrick Peterson on this team makes me really excited
