The New Orleans Saints are expected to sign both Kareem Hunt and Anthony Barr, if both players pass their physicals and are in shape, per sources.

Hunt is a good signing for us, he can help us.

Barr I have no idea how much he has left in the tank, but he's been a good player for a long time

Barr should be pretty solid for depth

Our depth is starting to be high level. We're building something here fellas

Plus side is we only need him for depth, but this also does not have to hinder somebody like D'Marco Jackson's growth either. If the price was right it's a win/win

Barr was actually pretty decent for the Cowboys last year. Started 10 games in the regular season & also started both of their playoff games.

I think it's a solid signing.

Why do we have the need for Hunt. I'd much rather have some backup LBs.

I wonder how they will use all these guys once Kamara returns. We have presumably 4 capable running backs when we dont always use 2 that well.

Im assuming Miller probably rides the bench as a rook

I don’t really get it to be honest. I don’t dislike it but Williams was paid decent money for his productivity and age, I’m assuming hunt is getting paid a little something as well given his productivity, miller was a decent draft pick investment, and Kamara is paid really well.

Not sure I trust Carmichael to get them all really involved if I’m honest and feel like Williams may be odd man out.

Hard-nosed chain mover who has a knack for breaking the initial tackle. Also a solid pass catcher. A nice security blanket at RB, for the 1st 3 games especially and beyond.

The depth at running back is so much better than what it was last year.

Must have been a point of emphasis for this year.

I doubt hunt gets any real money. Probably the min or close to it.

You are down to 2 real running backs for camp.

We sure do love our criminal thugs, don't we. What we have learned here today is that people want violent criminals to be either in jail or making millions on the football field. What a world we live in
