As NOLA will likely continue with Teedy type leaders for the future, the Saints, Pels, and future Super Bowls are in doubt when Gayle is gone.
You’re high.
Nola will have a Republican mayor with a side of Rudy Gilliani before the Saints or Pels leave the city.

But the statues are gone. This shouldn’t be happening anymore.

BUT the vandalism really is a big problem for fans. My uncle is a Pel season ticket holder and his GMC truck was broken into so many times, he went and bought a $500 beat up used car and drives that to games. He also leaves all the windows down. Never happened again. Problem solved.

You should see what the sports fans in LA do to cars. I guess Lakers Dodgers and Rams are on borrowed time too.
If NOLA was the #2 media market in the US with double digit Fortune 500 company HQ in town the crime would not be be a threat to its pro sports teams.
We’re barley top 50 in size and whacking citizens daily and others are moving in droves. There isn’t much margin for error for out teams and a city that DGAF about fan vehicle protection is a recipe for half empty arenas if the teams aren’t performing.

Ton of land in Lacombe to put a stadium.

everyone should have an old piece of shite car to drive around New Orleans. That way the reparations recipients will think you're just one of them and leave your car alone.

He looked like a bigger retard than Dennis Allen on the sidelines in the Purdue game. He even tried to install patented Drew Brees plays that were a disaster.
frick no. That dude is a failure at everything in life post Saints. He sucks in politics, he's a dumbass buying false jewelry, he sucked so bad as a broadcaster he was done in 1 year in his contract, he sucked as an OC for Purdue, and he lost his partnership with a sports betting organization.

Eh not a big basketball fan. Pelicans can go. The Saints and NFL have been lukewarm for me since that 2018 screw job. Saints leaving would actually be a relief after all the crap they pull on the fans over the years.

Speaking of... New Orleans and South Louisiana residents definitely don't get enough credit for handling sports championships.
When the Saints won the Super Bowl The whole country was on edge fearing what would happen in the city. Speculation of chaos was common on national outlets. But it turned into a HUGE positive and pleasant surprise for New Orleans when it was pure revelry and no stupid shite like flipping cars and lighting fires. Then the message was "we shoulda known New Orleans fans would be more interested in partying than flipping cars."
And how bout LSU winning THREE College Football National Championships in the Super Dome?
Every one of those games brought in over 100k LSU fans OUTSIDE the Dome. And each time LSU won the championship, it was a just a big arse party and parade of fans to Bourbon Street
Not a single car flipped or business destroyed in New Orleans in the wake of 4 major sporting events known to trigger such behavior in major cities and many small college towns alike..
I am really proud of that.
True!!!!! And shining times in NO/La sports and civil history.

It will never change because NOPD officers are involved in these crimes.

You make this argument for every team in a large metro area. Is Philly safe? Detroit?, Los Angeles?, New York etc…. Hell there was murders at Giants and Dodgers baseball games.

Agree there. Build a stadium somewhere North of the Lake. Get the team and fans away from that God Forsaken Hell Hole of a City!

And you could build a theme park too.

NFL and NBA don't have to worry, big ticket events...they'll call up state trooper + neighboring police to help with security.
Which are the only weekends going to New Orleans is worth it anyways.

Must have been a boatload of slants and 5 yard out patterns.

Chicago top 3 market and DC is US capital. Those markets can absorb some shite better than us. As bad as stuff is elsewhere, other NFL markets are at least protecting the fans vehicles. After NOPD promised additional patrols for this game, we fricked it up again. Get the Saints out of here.

Don’t worry mayor cantrell will make everything right again
Posted on 1/8/23 at 8:04 pm to Geauxldilocks
But that butch police chief said there was nothing to worry about parking in NOLA. The NOLA apologists ate that shite up.
