The Browns want Lamar Jackson. They don’t want to pass up on Saquon Barkley because he’s such a playmaker and they are planning on pairing Myles Garrett with Bradley Chubb .

Those are the 1st and 4th picks . The Saints are baiting like they’re highly interested in Jackson . The Browns will trade up to the 27th spot to Take Jackson and the Saints will grab the 33rd, 35th and probably one of the Browns 5th round picks .

This would give the Saints

2nd Round: 33rd, 35th
3rd Round: 91st
4th Round: 127th
5th Round: 147th, 164th
6th Round: 189th, 201st
7th Round: 245th

33rd: Sam Hubbard DE OSU
35th: D.J Moore WR Maryland
91st: Harrison Phillips DT Stanford

Cleveland traded 33rd and 108 (2nd and 4th rounder) to get to 29 last year.

no way you're getting both 33 and 35, much less 33, 35, and a 5th.

It doesn't surprise me at all that the Browns want Lamar Jackson. Moving up to take him would be right up their alley.

that would be a coup for us, the Browns would be giving up almost double the value to climb to 27. I doubt even they, are that stupid.

Different scenario if they’re going after a QB at that pick

If the Browns have the #1 and #4 and don't take a QB with either, it's a virtual lock that the top four QBs in the draft will have hall of fame careers. Just so we can hear for another 20 years how terrible the Browns are at the draft.

I think now that they have Tyrod Taylor, they should draft Barkley at 1 and Chubb at 4. Then draft either OL or QB at 33.

Imo build your roster up and then try to bring in a big QB through free agency in 2019.

the next few "franchise QB" to be available will be:

Ryan Tannehill
Andy Dalton
Blake Bortles
Eli Manning (he is more likely to go to jacksonville than cleveland, honestly)

Slim pickings. get your QB on the cheap now.

Trading for 33 and 35 would be absolutely retarded. We would take their First next year and be done with it.

Not out of the realm of happing I've seen crazier shite go down during a draft. Plus you're talking about Cleveland.

Crazier stuff in the top 5 pick, sure.

Look back at the last 5 years and find a team giving up that much for late 1st

I'd take 35 this year and Cleveland's first next year in a HEARTBEAT. There's a good chance that 1st is within striking distance to get a QB next year.
