Gayle nervous about fan satisfaction.

Loomis says Dennis is well respected around the league and if you ask, the majority would say he’s a good coach.

Have we ever seen any sort of riff between these two before? Please let Loomis be next.

ETA: looks like this article doesn’t have the full story. Just head it on the radio.

Strange that Loomis would stick his neck out this far for one of the worst head coaches of all time record-wise. Shows you how deep the rot goes with this org.

They made the obvious point on the radio. He’s in self preservation mode.

Yeah nothing unexpected here. He hired him and HE wanted to fire him at the end of the season to save face. Gayle pulled out that old rug.

This is actually excellent news. Building a rift between these two actually makes it feel possible we could move on from Loomis.

I've been hard on the people who want Loomis fired, because it's never felt realistic. I mean, the guy is literally documented as part of the plan to sell the franchise when Gayle dies. Feels unfireable. But if they're at odds, maybe it could be done, which would be huge for us. Getting an entirely new operation on Airline would be such a breath of fresh air.

well you can find yourself on the outs pretty quick if you start fricking with somebody's money.

I thought he was untouchable too....but man he just keeps digging himself into a deeper hole with his public comments.

He's a horrific GM and has been completely exposed as such since Sean and Drew left.

It was discussed earlier this week. Forgot who it was but, supposedly Mickey is only the back up. Loucha is the one named to the succession

Mickey has been around long enough to know where the bodies are hidden.

Allen was Loomis' shield. That is why he didn't want him gone. Now, Mickey is feeling the same heat that Allen was feeling. Loomis has to go. He is a major reason we are in this mess. Our salary cap situation is a total disaster. We are paying people not on our roster anymore along with a bunch of overpriced extended contracts of players that are clearly in decline. All of this is Loomis' fault. He is a terrible leader and deserves more blame that Allen for our current situation. Clean house!!!

He probably realizes you’re not going to be able to hire anyone worth a damn because the cap is so screwed up, whoever gets the job is destined for failure. This fact is likely going to be obvious when they start trying to hire someone. It’s going to make him look bad and the source of the problems.
