How some of y'all still let this be a thing is hilarious.

If memory serves, Underhill said we could free up somewhere around 80mil through restructures/other means. Seems like we have a decent amount of draft capital too, so I don't see why it isn't possible to get RW.

there are costs to managing the cap and manipulating the monies. we paid the price a bit this year, lost hendrickson, rankins, jenkins, let sanders go, and if kwon had not got hurt, likely couldn't have afforded him neither. its so cute things get done every year but theres still issues and logistics to be dealt with.

Bring him in. We need a franchise QB.

About the same thing it took for the Rams to get Stafford...

The Saints paid the cost due to the pandemic leading to a drastic reduction in cap space. Had there not been financial losses due to the pandemic, business would have continued as usual.

What is possibly to much for a top 5 qb in the league? You rather keep Jameis and be mediocre every year? You don't really believe Jameis will bring a championship to Nola do you?

Yes he said we could clear 80-90 mil without even having to cut a player

Taysom hill straight up. That should do the trick.

Way too much. He’s lost his athleticism and doesn’t seem accurate like before. Way to much of a gamble now.
Rather see what Winston can do with MT and a 2nd receiver.

I do not understand the love affair for Rodgers. great player to be sure, but just an all around unlikeable guy. some times he just goes out and plays like he could care less the outcome - see game 1 this year.
probly just me, but i'd rather Wilson

You mean the guy that said as of 1 week ago he is unsure if he will keep playing?
Rodgers questions future
Do i think he does? Not really. But he keeps bringing it up every year.
