Cousins could be a good gamble. Full year off surgery could do wonders to him looking more like his old self

they'll be taking snaps away from the 3 main candidates who, let's face it, need all the snaps they can get before the season starts.

Haener is not a candidate for anything.

Tanner McKee looks like a possible fit with CKM as someone posted earlier. Size similar to his 2nd rounder used this year. Perhaps just a matter of how well he knows the system.

The head coach disagrees with you on that (at least publicly).

quote:

“We’re going to let all three of these guys roll,” coach Kellen Moore told reporters on Saturday, “and they’ve all earned these opportunities. We’ll let Jake, Spencer, and Tyler — all three kind of go through this process.”

This is a fluid situation and I think people need to realize they really don't know what the hell they're thinking in the front office right now.

Could probably get him for a 3rd. Let’s see if it happens.

Wow coach speak has definitely never been a thing! Sure, no crap if Haener lights it up in training camp and the rest suck he’ll win the job. But that’s fantasy land because he won’t, and it’ll be the guy they just spent a second round pick on that has better tools than the other two.

Teddy B is about to make a bunch of money. He is the only serious FA QB out there.

That’s funny.

I don’t necessarily want to bring in a veteran QB to start, but it would be good to have a veteran presence like Bridgewater or Beathard in the film room and showing the young guys how to prepare and what to watch for.

Barring a crazy situation in which the team thinks said vet could possibly be the franchise QB, it should not spend a dollar of next years money on that vet.
