Feel like this draft would turn our biggest defensive weakness into our biggest strength.
28 pick analysis: JOK can cover tight ends, running backs, and slot receivers better than most of the cornerbacks/safeties in this class. He plays fast and mean, and he makes plays. Prototype WILL in today’s league.
60 pick analysis: Yes that Kelvin Joseph, the one that left LSU. He has some definite off the field concerns. But talent wise he is a top 4 corner in this class. Pro type body, high ON FIELD football character. I’m aware of his off the field stuff but in between the lines he busts his arse every play, runs to block for his teammates after picks, etc.
98 pick analysis: PT.2 of turning our biggest weakness into biggest strength. Let Davis and Baun battle for the SAM spot until Demario moves on. Davis is 6’4 240 with a 4.4 forty. More importantly he shows that speed on film, covering Kyle Pitts downfield, flying from sideline to sideline. He’s not as physical as I’d like/expect for a player of his size. As he doesn’t really “thump” ball carriers or lineman when he meets them in the hole. But that’s well worth it for a 3rd round pick.
105 pick analysis: If it one thing Palmer does, it’s winning on routes downfield, played extremely well in one on ones at the senior bowl. Need to watch more film on him but I couldn’t pass on him at 105.
133 pick analysis: Kendrick Green is your annual “project” player for us to develop. Former D lineman, shows that dline man explosiveness in his blocks, especially on the second level. You draft him to groom him for peat’s eventual trade/release/yearly 5 game injury.

I do. Especially if they want a guy with some size like Bateman or Marshall. If not at 28, one of the little guys could be an option at 60. Moore x2, Rodgers, Atwell
