Just saw a replay of that last part of the game and watched Lattimore on the play when he was called for the personal foul. It is very clear that the Falcons player baited him by hitting just after the end of the play. Latimore, being Lattimore, took the bait and hit the Falcon back after the Falcon had turned around. That gave the birds a chance to win.

Lattimore is a great cover corner. He also does not or can not control his emotions in tight situations. Not the first time his overreacting has cost the Saints.

Yeah that was a brutal penalty. He obviously thought the game was over because the clock had hit 0. I haven’t rewatched it but I thought it was kind of a soft penalty. The falcons player definitely sold it.

Doesn’t matter. At this point he’s a veteran and should know better.

Well yeah, and I had not seen anyone post about it. Sorry to disappoint you.

It does not matter that he was baited. He should not have fallen for the bait. That was a boneheaded penalty that could have cost his team the game. The Saints did everything they could to give that game away and that was a big part of it.
But at least we are 1-0.

Inexcusable and I am not sure how he was baited as you claim. That was just stupid on his part he should know better.

Told y’all Lattimore vs Bryan Edwards would be a key factor in the game.

A very prescient prediction - it came true today. If Lattimore does not hit Fournette after Fournett pushed him, the closest official was going for his flag and was about to throw it on Fournette.

Lattimore's interminable immaturity is costing his teammates and the Saints organization dearly. LATTIMORE - GROW THE FRICK UP!!!

When you can live in a thug's head like Lattimore rent free, I'd bait him too. He's a headcase that should be traded. Every year it's the same shite with him. Stupid shite in critical moments just like last week he's flipping WRs thinking the game is over. He almost gave the Falcons the win with the FG. Thug POS needs to be cut or traded. Tired of his jawing.
