Saw that, think he’ll be way better than him though. We always talk about just getting guys who are good at football and can impact the game in multiple ways, Warren is that guy.

Warren's comp is Dallas Clark. To be picked at 9, he'd need to be Shannon Sharpe, Kelce or that SF TE. I don't think he is that good.

I’m no where near as high on him as I was Bowers. He’s who I really wanted last year. Bowers was a man amongst boys putting up numbers as a freshman.

Warren is a 5th year player and his only big year was this past year. Where was the production the other 4 years?

I’d rather go in a different direction depending on what’s on the board. And get one of the other tight ends later in the draft. Would love to get Mason Taylor.

If Mason Graham is there at 9 you run to the podium. Wouldn’t even overthink it.

Throwing away good draft capital for a QB who clearly isn’t better than what you have on your roster (Rattler)

if we use good draft capital to take dart than Kellen Moore clearly disagrees with you that it’s obvious rattler( a fifth round qb ) is better than dart

To me Warren is kind of like Taysom Hill if Taysom had spent his entire career from HS to College to the NFL playing TE developing this skills, in a weird way. He can do a lot of different things

No he is not as good of a prospect as Bowers but he is a really good prospect

Why would that make you sick? Graham is the top player at one of our biggest positions of need.

I want Walker, but I would be pretty happy if we got Graham instead.

This would be my preference.

Schefter thinks the Giants could take Sanders. He doesn't seem to think Sanders is coming to N.O.

quote:

New Orleans Saints (No. 9): New Orleans hasn't used a first-round pick on a quarterback since 1971, when it drafted Archie Manning at No. 2. Yet even with the drought, even with Derek Carr dealing with a lingering shoulder injury, there still is a healthy dose of skepticism the Saints are interested in Sanders at No. 9.

The Giants and Browns had full staffs in attendance at Colorado's pro day, but the Saints had limited attendance that didn't even include coach Kellen Moore and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier. The Saints coaches spotted at Sanders' pro day were quarterbacks coach Scott Tolzien and wide receivers coach Keith Williams. If the Saints needed any further insight into Sanders, veteran running back Alvin Kamara has been training at Colorado this offseason, but it doesn't sound like they do.

There is a belief around the league that the Saints are more interested in using a high pick on an offensive or defensive lineman, because there are questions about two starters: tackle Trevor Penning and guard Nick Saldiveri. The belief is they want to draft a quarterback -- just maybe not at No. 9, and maybe not Sanders. As another personnel executive said: "I don't think New Orleans is taking Shedeur. I think they're hot and heavy on Jaxson Dart."

Speaking of Dart, there is skepticism about whether the Saints would take the Ole Miss passer at No. 9 -- it feels high to many around the league. They have an equally strong need on defense, and had a contingent of officials -- including Moore, assistant general manager Jeff Ireland and defensive coordinator Brandon Staley -- in Athens, Georgia, on Thursday to visit with defenders Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams, both of whom are projected to be first-round picks.

Dart would figure to be squarely in play for the Saints' next pick, whether that's in the second round (No. 40) or a trade-up. An then there's this: New Orleans already has made exploratory calls about trading up in Round 2, per league sources, and it's worth noting it has two third- and two fourth-round picks.

We have a ton of dt’s right now and godchaux might be good enough for a year or two.

Graham wouldnt be playing Godchauxs position lol. He likely would be playing an end position.

Membou is a much much better fit than Will Campbell. Plus the Kellen Moore brother connection

Yeah, totally who needs a fricking quarterback in this league anyways frick that we don’t need no quarterback we got fifth round Spencer Rattler. He could be the next Joe Montana.

Hard to predict what this team does pre-draft, but one thing is for certain - The old "credit card" approach. Will give up more than they get, and put next years draft in a worse position.
