What power do you think you and the rest of NOLA blowhards think you have to force an answer? Besides bitching on the internet and sports talk radio you've got nothing.

I totally agree with you and couldnt care less where he or his wife and kids live as long as he wins football games. You however are naive if you think he is not going to have to address this in a more direct way.

You are dead wrong about this. That is the national Ed Werder angle. All people here will hear is the Payton's don't like living here.

They lived in MANDEVILLE. Not in a house on St. Charles. You'd have an argument if Brees' wife was moving to Dallas.

In case you forgot, Mandeville is suburbia anytown USA. He doesn't live at home during the season anyways, his wife and family want to move back to their "hometown".

There is nothing more to this story. If anything ya'll should be happy Payton is going to buy a house IN New Orleans.

And again, did ya'll miss the part that Westlake has NO propery taxes.

He will reinforce his committment to the Saints organization I am sure. He will not however break down his familys decision like a post game analysis

Yes he did. I have seen him at St. Pauls football games. Everyone there leaves him and his wife and kids alone. All of the people who would get a chance to interact with them normally leave them alone. Shopping at Rouses for his wife isn't a chore I promise you.

No matter how you look at it, this isn't good. A huge part of what made the Saints so special in 2009 was how much they represented the city and the bond between the city/region and the coaches/team. I get that its a business and his family wants the best life possible for them, but this move definitely frays the bond between the region and Payton.

I just couldn't see him saying all that he said last year while his family was living in Dallas and he commuted via private plane. Not liking this at all.

I agree with all of this and I would like to add I am a huge Sean Peyton fan and will always be thankful for everything he has done. But this leaves me with a bad taste. He is being paid millions to coach and represent the Saints in the community. No disrespect intended to him or his family but if he doesn't want to live here then I wish he wouldn't coach here. He is one of the best coaches in the league but he is not the only good coach out there.

I am also beginning to worry that Payton's wife might somehow try to hurt the Saints by giving inside information to the Cowboys. This is all a big plot.

this just goes to show what a shite hole of a city NOLA is. It is only for a select group of people with very low living standards, who know nothing else is out there

What a lovely comment from someone whose professional team owner and city totally f'ed up the Superbowl! YOU need to step out a bit and see how it's done well, and NO PLACE BETTER THAN NOLA! Must be why every year sportscasters call for NOLA to be the PERMANENT superbowl location. Dallas is a haven for the biggest and best MEDIOCRITY the state of Texas can serve up. Enjoy Sparky!

This is a perfect example of what happens when you let people post behind something anaymous. Your bitch arse wouldnt say that to a single person from NOLA so you come on here and run your mouth.

I'm failing to see how one man moving his family means an entire city is a shite hole? I'd be willing to bet you've never been to New Orleans in your life and only talk shite out of your hatred for the Saints.

You mean like Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage, Lenny Kravitz, John Goodman, etc? All of whom have traveled the world and still chose to own a home in New Orleans.
