I'm sure he goes home but its been mentioned many times that he's known to crash at a downtown hotel after an event or at the practice facility. And when he does get home its not like he's doing much more than going to sleep.

The website for the Neighborhood noted that there are no prop taxes levied at the muni level.

Mobile and McComb don't have NFL teams so that would make a big difference. You think people are just being irrational questioning this, here's a national writer with the same questions:

That was my point. Everyone is freakin out because he bought a house 50 minutes from the cowboys facility. I'm guessing if he buys a condo in L.A. next year everyone will say he's preppping for the Cali Bengals job, right?

JUST IN: Payton's vacation in chalet 65 minutes from Invesco Field...

This is a perfect example of what happens when you let people post behind something anaymous. Your bitch arse wouldnt say that to a single person from NOLA so you come on here and run your mouth.

He must be that guy on you tube with the cowboy jersey and the sun glasses on cussing new Orleans down like a sailor.

That was a pretty good article on the situation. What's odd is that the Times-Picayune hasn't really reported anything of value on this story. They've only gotten one sentence statements from the Saints, no real in depth reports. All of this does matter given everything Payton said about New Orleans and his own neighborhood in his book. Something's amiss.

Don't take it from me, take it from Payton. Not often you hear about a city so undesirable the head NFL coach uproots his family to get them to a better area. And yes I have been, and had siblings living there.

So the city sings the praises of its saviors (Payton and Brees) while one comes out in front of the home crowd holding up his finger in unity of players wanting more money and the other takes his family and tax dollars to Dallas. Funny. Real connection to the city, huh?

Do you think people like Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage, Lenny Kravitz, and John Goodman have low living standards?

Anybody know the Payton's actual home address on the North Shore? I just want to see what his digs looked like in Google satellite view. Probably will Zillow him too while I am at it...see it's current market value...

They don't LIVE there dude. Yeah they may own property there and make extended visits to NOLA but they don't LIVE in New Orleans. Sorry but you're wrong.

Can you show me a link where Sean Payton or any other coach for that matter has said New Orleans is undesirable? And FWIW, he didn't live in NOLA. He lived in Mandeville, which is actually a very nice town. Educate yourself before you post inaccurate information. Thanks for playing, chief.

If they choose to hold a primary residence in NOLA than yes. But I have a hard time believing any celebrity spends > 50% of the time there.

Nola is just a place for most celebrities and people to come visit for a few days, trash, and bail out. Not a desirable place to get stuck in. Evidenced by Payton.

Ever heard of something called reading comprehension?

Which is exactly what I said.

How many of them actually live in NOLA? Goodman? You've got Goodman and Ani Difranco. Impressive.

Mandeville, New Orleans... It's all metro New Orleans. Stop splitting hair. It's closer to NO than Dallas is.

As has been mentioned before, it is probably something personal to the Payton family. I would be surprised if it is anything different.

Are any of you capable of using your reading skills? I said they owned homes there. Not once did I say they all lived there.

Well maybe if you used some of your reading skills and referred back to my original post you were so quick to object, you would stop spinning the argument and stop posting.
