Why would they give up on a high second rounder so quickly? Vrabel must not like his game at all. Not bad shout considering it’s about as little comp as you can give but definitely seems like a lotto ticket.
Vrabel wasn't coach? He's a retread if you want to look at that too for other orgs.
This is just a fricking dart throw, like I said. It doesn't need to mean more than that. But all the tools here will make it the end of the world.

guys its a 6th and 7th round swap, we are talking about literally giving up nothing
Our 6th and 7th round rookies got snaps week1
This trade is inconsequential but having a lot of darts to throw on a team this bad isn’t a bad thing. You never know what you’re going to hit

Is there a bum injured player the saints wouldn’t trade for?

We lost a pick on a player who won’t make the team. Guess it won’t matter, Mickey is horrid at picking anyway

So now you saying Vrabel isn’t a good coach or doesn’t know what he’s doing lol?

I mean any? I believe he went in the high second round and now they’re just cutting bait barely a year later. That’s wild.

We didn't lose a pick. We got a pick back, all we did was move down between two worthless rounds
Reading comprehension is at an all time low

For those who are interested here is the nfl.com draft profile on Polk last year before the raft.

god forbid someone gets paralyzed in a game this week.... Loomis just might frick around and give them a first rounder in 2030 to take them off the team's hands

My track record football wise is about 90% accuracy wise on takes. A lot of people don't agree in the moment, but then they become commonplace in 2-3 years.

, you have no idea what you're talking about
6th/7th round picks are barely assets. They almost never even make teams. They traded the equivalent of a bag of chips for a guy who was a 2nd round pick a year ago lmao. Even if he's trash they basically lost nothing
Y'all losers will melt about anything I swear
Would you give up a 6th round pick for foskey? And this guy doesn't work hard and was a locker room problem.
The saints need as many assets as possible.

We did not give up a 6th round pick. We moved down a round.
Also, this is a disingenuous question. Foskey is in year 3. Polk is in year 2 and played year 1 out of position.
So if the question was, would I move down from a 6th round pick to a 7th round pick 3 years from now (the value given up in said transaction being approximately 1/150th of the average 1st round pick) for Foskey if I was another team last offseason? Probably. Because there’s high upside if that guy hits in a change of scenery and I’m giving up basically nothing for it.

We LITERALLY have more assets after this trade than we had before it.
Before: 2028 6th round pick (1x asset)
After: 2028 7th round pick (1x asset), JaLynn Polk (1x asset)

You know what really sucks, they traded down with the chargers and they selected McConkey with that pick, and they ended up with Polk. That’s wild. McConkey reminded me of Wes Welker

Mcconkey is nothing like Wes Welker.
They play two different styles and two.different positions
I've watched almost every Ladd mcconkey game in college and the nfl and I've always said he was a mini Brock bowers going back to college.
