Lifelong Saints fan here... E-mails from the Catholic church on this matter should have been turned over to the police immediately. Without a response from the Saints front Office on any guidance..

Seeing as I am an attorney I wouldn't be giving out legal advice to a non-client so no. What I would do is tell him to seek out counsel ASAP. I would immediately block his number and disassociate with him.
I agree putting anything in writing through an email you don't want to eventually get out is a terrible idea.

Some of the poster trying to say that the church as a whole is a bunch of pedophiles is backward arse thinking...like all black man a gangbangers and all white men are racists.
Right now, it appears as though they tried to provide some guidance to the church. Yep, email wasn't the smartest move. ... and if they it turns out they broke the law to assist in a cover-up, then burn it to the fricking ground...but right now all you've got is an AP story making broad Accusations. Pump the brakes.

Oh Jesus Mac, get off your high horse. You honestly believe, if Gayle truly did this, that rational Saints fans wouldn’t want her gone and punished? This isn’t Penn State where the entire state was up in arms for Joe Pa.
And I’m sure most fan bases would react the same way most have on here, supportive but wary of how this could turn out. Penn State is a special place that can rot in hell. College fans have an obsession with the university and football and young men’s lives that’s sickening. Most NFL fans are passionate but don’t take it to the 10th degree the way college fans do. They have lives.

I hope it's not true, But the Saints trying to block (with a court order) the emails from getting out.
Sounds extremely concerning... if the content is that bad--sounds like the Saints Organization is worried about how the fans & the NFL will react to the emails getting out.
