I was a hard “no” before the Super Bowl, but he changed my mind. Dude leaned on Barkley even when he was getting stuffed, and that opened up the passing game for Hurts and his receivers. Most OCs would’ve abandoned their running game, which would have spelled doom for the Eagles.

I’ll give him a solid 7 only because he wasn’t a great OC with Dallas or LAC because of the fact he tended to give up on the run game in the past. Give the man another explosive running back in the draft and let’s see how this goes.

Likely Moore being our 4th choice I’d say a 5

7or 8 is a good guesstimate, but it’ll take awhile for things to shake out.

Whomever stated an opinion of less than 8 should not be taken seriously ever. People have been going out of their way to be miserable fricks for quite some time on this board. This hire is in between a 9 or 10. Success past this point has many variables but, in our current state to have the patience to go after possibly the best offensive mind of this cycle is quite the get for this organization. We need innovation and intellect in the building. Glenn may have been a great person but he’s not half the coach. We need an offensive vision for success moving forward. Ties to the eagles staff as well as possibility of Staley’s DC are all added bonuses.

The Saints have been a miserable frick franchise since Brees retired and Payton finally succeeded after multiple tries to leave for another job.

Moore is a solid 7 type hire; we’ll see if the baggage is too much to overcome to build a winner. My guess is he ultimately fails.

I think we hired the best coach available. Time to put together a staff, evaluate the personnel and prepare for the draft and free agency. Coach Moore has been preparing for this his whole life. I give it a ten. Great hire and he won't let us down. He will be an immediate winner.

You laugh, but he’s been wanting to be a head coach since he was in Dallas and no one wanted him. But he does good with Saquan for a year and he’s now a great candidate…. Gtfoh

seems like barkley was a bigger beneficiary of the eagles than the eagles the bigger beneficiary of barkley. career stats don't lie.

Well a 10 didn’t exist this year as there was no one with HC experience available that would have = a 10. Certainly not McCarthy. It’s hard to say any coordinator being promoted to HC is a 10, Ben Johnson included. You must never know how it’ll work out.

That said I give it an 8. I think it’s a very good hire.

Really doesn’t matter who they hire as a head coach. As long as Loomis is running the show the team can’t get better.
