I'm fine with what we got, I just don't understand why we needed to send over a 3rd. The first rounder is 29th and a 2nd next year. There was no reason to send over a 3rd. Maybe a 5th or something sure if they had to have something.

No one should have expected that realistically, but this is effectively as low of a first rounder as you can get and you have to give a pick back.

If the 2024 first rounder package was offered, you take that 10/10 times. The Saints won’t be competitive in 2023 regardless and the chances of getting a lower pick than 29 are practically zero.
