Neither the Dolphins nor the Bengals are trading away those picks.
Burrow and Tua will be 1 and 2.

Thought that comment was sorta tongue-in-cheek when he said it.

He has the running ability of Aaron Rodgers, the mojo of Brady, the pinpoint accuracy of Brees, and the toughness of Brett Favre. We better try to get him. Those guys have a combined 9 Super Bowl wins and he’s all of them rolled into one.

Lord knows the saints aren’t drafted an LSU player for one.
But Burrow went to OSU which we know CSP Loves.
His reality must be being torn asunder

The Saints will be punished for the lack of interest in LSU, and in return the football gods will make Joe Burrow a Falcon.
And then I'll want to die.
And then I'll want to die.

Would y’all do a Julio Jones type trade? We don’t have a second which hurts.

payton sees his guy they will absolutely trade the house. I don’t think this is completely unbelievable. They have always been aggressive in a draft. They have a stacked team and don’t necessarily need to add too much.
If he’s going #1 and we are a super bowl contender- the house might not be enough.

The Julio trade was to get to 6.
Now look at trades to move up in the top ten substantially on top of that compensation

There were drafts in the past that felt like absolute failures so I could see the argument of the whole thing.

Would anyone trade kamara and a mix of picks for chance to get burrow?
I’d do it. We have done very well with drafting and picking up rb

Burrow will only get drafted top 15 if he can prove he has the arm strength for the NFL.
I don't think he does but we will see.

Depends on if CEH declares...

Everybody can be traded. We have a lot of young players to pay and we have always found rb to fit the system with Payton.
If burrow is the target I think you will have to give up a top level player to get him.

Yep you're going to have to trade either Kamara, Ram, or Lattimore along with at least a first round pick to move up to get Burrow. Price is going to be very high but if the front office thinks he's going to be Brees 2.0 then you do it. QB is the most important position in all of professional sports.

I would trade AK too, but not too many picks more to get that high, so I would probably say a trade to get Burrow isn't realistic.
I think we are looking at a guy like Fromm or Lawrence in the later part of the first.
Would I rather Burrow, absolutely, but we are likely not going to be in a position to pick him, so realistically I think those two are the type of QBs we are looking at if we go QB in the first.

I stopped reading here.
I do agree that there's no way the Saints could reach for Burrow this year without giving up draft capital and players, but you'd trade AK (who actually may be one of the best all-around RBs to play the game) for a QB that has yet to prove himself at that level. That's all sorts of dumb.
As much as Lattimore has been a godsend for this defense, I think he's a great trade candidate. I highly doubt we can afford to pay Ramczyk, Lattimore, and AK41 while maintaining a competitive roster.
