Not sure how much of this is based on info or a guess, but seemed very specific to mention the Saints of all teams... but certainly hes a guy who would have sources to hear something like this.

If payton sees his guy they will absolutely trade the house. I don’t think this is completely unbelievable. They have always been aggressive in a draft. They have a stacked team and don’t necessarily need to add too much.

What it would take to move up to get him you better hope you knock it out the park because you would have to give away three years worth of a draft to move up for him at this point

Saints purposely not drafting LSU players is the laziest takes. It’s one of the dumbest things repeated on here. They just hate LSU so much and refuse to draft them, that’s totally it.

Honestly this team has drafted so well in recent years that I don’t mind sacrificing an arm, leg, and soul for burrow. Dude is perfect for this team and you just sack up and build around him moving forward. We can sacrifice top end draft picks. frick it.

Yep. Certainly the connection (Brady) and need is there, but it would likely take at least this year's 3rd and next year's 1st (probably more) to move up that far. The only way I can see it happening is if the two most QB needy teams (Miami and Cincy) pass on him in the top 10 and the next wave of potentially QB needy teams (Ten., Denver, Tampa, Chargers) are all in the teens. THEN, the price may not be so steep to prohibit a trade

Payton has seen plenty of Burrow, and I’m sure he’ll react accordingly. There are a lot of variables to consider.
