Hurts - One good year, but higher celing.
Prescott - Carr
Stafford - Today, Carr.
Cousins - Prolly Cousins
Hell Goff’s best seasons are similar to Carr and he got to the Sup……. ahh NFCCG at least - frick Goff.

And that’s not counting Rodgers - Carr over the hippie

Carr is top 5 in the conference.

Oh for fricks sake. On what planet has Carr ever been a better qb than Aaron Rodgers.

I see you conveniently left out Cousins playoff record. And his record in prime time games may be one of the worse all time. He’s a good regular season stat padding quarterback but no I’d take my chances with Carr in the playoffs. Cousins is the poster boy for cracking under the big lights.

As far as Dak is concerned, I’d say he has been on better teams than what the Raiders have had so of course he will have a better record. Guess it’s a matter of preference.

Compared to the guy who cracks before the big lights?

Just look at the stats. Dak and Cousins are comfortably ahead of Carr.

This is before you get into Carr's lack of team success compared to either Cousins or Dak

If we going by track record, we should have went with Jimmy G. He has one of the highest win percentages of all time. Higher than joe Montana.

Is he better than Dak and Cousins?

Why did you ignore the actual argument in my post?

Just look at the stats. Dak and Cousins are comfortably ahead of Carr.

I said you look at stats long before team success

This at least explains this nonsense

Kudos for at least admitting you are biased, but why on earth would take Carr over Prescott? and don’t say salary, that’s just a cop out.

mean he still isn’t average-to-really bad.

You people make me laugh. He isn't "really bad" and average is better than what we've had lately. Would I like his contract lower? Hell yes, but here he is so stop complaining like women.

1-3 is better than 0-1 Cochise

And Carr has been worse with lesser stats

Based on what exactly? Please note I’m not arguing for Saints acquiring Cousins, but by any measure other than pure bias he’s clearly been than Carr

No, for one he’s only played 16 games once given his track record of injury I’d lean Carr over him

This isn't as strong of a point as you think it is. It's like trying to find the best looking turd

That one win was against our playoff choking arse lol. Guess Carr wasn’t as lucky to play us in the playoffs.

Guess we will see how good Carr really is when he’s not on the Raiders.

Then they're stupid. Carr isn't top 8 in the NFC, much less top 5. Y'all are being hyperbolic when it comes to Carr.

Acting like he's better than an above average starting QB is disingenuous at best.

Our ceiling is winning the south and a first round exit. More likely we finish around 8-9 or 7-10. Floor is top 5 pick.

We are still a bad team and adding Derek Carr doesn't change that. This was a desperation move to save Allen's job.

People don’t seem to get the obvious. Of course Carr is an upgrade & everyone should want him.

But we are paying too much for him.

Last year I fell into the trap of believing we have a solid coaching staff & we’re a playoff team.

Then I watched every game last year.
