At this point Loomis is more like a local businessman who puts the Saints on his resume. He’s entirely too wrapped up in civic bullshite, socialite crap, and failed side business ventures like his restaurant/bar on Metairie road. In doing so, he’s basically ingrained himself as some unaccountable community pillar. Gayle is wrapped up in the same shite as him so she’s fine with it. As long as the money comes in they’re ok going to charitable galas and fielding 7-9 teams.
There is zero hope of him being fired. Winning franchises are not built like this. The franchise is rotten from the core.

Apparently you didn’t listen to the post-game show where local jester Bobby Hebert berated a fan’s text who had the same sentiment (Loomis, along with DA have to go). Hebert went on to claim that Loomis was one of the top 10 GMs of all time! comparing him to Ozzie Newsome and Curly Lambeau. I kid you not!
No GM that is interested in winning would have hired DA. It was strictly a money move. Bobby’s comments confirm that he is a member of the Saints swamp and nothing will ever change as long as the revenue stream continues.

Yet, the Dome continues to be packed, and the team is selling parking, overpriced food, and a shite ton of adult beverages. Until people quite renewing season tickets and stop going to games, Gayle will keep giving Loomis raises while she counts her money, and Loomis increases her profit margin by retaining a Dollar General coach that no one else wants, so he’s cheap.

When you understand that Loomis part of the ownership group, then foolish posts like this will cease.
Part of the problem is that the Saints are getting old on the defensive side of the ball and too young on the offensive side. And contracts that are about to run out on aging players
