Honestly I wouldn’t even appeal it even if you didn’t discuss this prior. You got a pretty damn favorable ruling all things considered. The last thing you want to do is slap them in the face for treating the saints fairly for once.

So Titans, Panthers, Packers
No Problem

I was thinking 4-6.
3 is a win.
3 is a win.

Didn’t Ray Rice get only 2 for beating his wife?

That was a whole ordeal. At first it was 2 games. Then the video got released to the public, and he was "suspended indefinitely", and then the Ravens released him.

Nobody cares about a dude getting beat up.

Yep, just put out some canned statement that you support victims of violence and you respect the NFLs decision.

Sure. Gambling potentially affects money for the nfl from its gambling partners and sponsors and has people questioning the integrity of the game. If it gets big enough these huge casino sponsor/partners start getting less action on nfl games because people see it as illegitimate.
Kamara’s issue doesn’t threaten the shield or the leagues money in any way.

That’s surprisingly lower than I expected. I was thinking 6-8 games.

for Vegas fight

Gambling- presents the risk that the event you are watching is fixed. That could kill the sport.
Beating the shite out of someone randomly- makes for TMZ headlines, and lots of 'celebrity fans' (who don't care about the game, only about how famous someone is) will talk about it. That isn't the NFL's market; a guy like Brady or Rodgers, or maybe Mahomes can dip into that field, but the guys filling the stadiums and watching religiously on Sunday don't care. Fans of other teams may want Kamara suspended, but only because he's a threat against their team.

I always thought it would be a six game suspension, appeal and then reduced to three or four games. This is about as good as we could have hoped for.

You are right. He should have been imprisoned and there would’ve been no need for a suspension.
But I’m glad it was only 3 games as a Saints fan.

Yeah, he beat the guy up so close to death that the prosecutors in Vegas dropped it to a misdemeanor.
