Sources: NFL is suspending Saints RB Alvin Kamara 3 games for his role in a fight outside a Las Vegas nightclub in 2022. Kamara reached a plea agreement in July, and no longer is facing a felony charge for his role in the fight that occurred before the Pro Bowl in February 2022.

This might be the most favorable saints ruling in saints history

That’s surprisingly lower than I expected. I was thinking 6-8 games.

See what happens when Payton is no longer coaching? Goodell truly hates him.

Lol I think the feeling between them in mutual. Why else would Payton wear a Goodell clown shirt?

Best you could hope for. Just long enough time to heal many
boo-boos and short enough time to minimize oxidation.

Kamara taking a plea deal and then the apology thing he did earlier today was probably all part of it

Goodell told him yesterday to do a contrite public apology and the suspension will be limited... so he did

If Sean was the coach it’s a 6 gamer. 1 positive about losing that tubby arse mofo.

Is it possible he appeals and it gets reduced to 2?

Kendre Miller will step up and Jamaal Williams will have a huge game against his former team in Week 3. We still ridin' baws.

This was probably all negotiated out and agreed to Wednesday while Kamara was in NYC

I wouldn't expect any kind of appeal

I think he just takes the 3 games and feels fortunate about it. The meeting with Goodell probably ironed out the details in advance of the announcement today

Would have been 2 games but Gruden was seen at Saints camp

Oh, and now that he has that reworked deal, it'll hit him for less than $200k in lost game checks

I'm guessing since he met with Goodell beforehand he probably knew what was coming and agreed not to appeal
