Romo showed no personality in that commercial with Mr. T. He looked like he was scared to death of a frail looking Mr. T who wasn't the powerfully built intimidator that he used to be.

He stinks.

He got overhyped because he retired and then immediately went into broadcasting, and was able to predict things because he was close to the game recently. The more he gets removed from it the less he can do that

Brees, to me, has always kind of come across as robotic in that he is always trying to say the "right" thing and remain in the middle, which is kind of boring. Everything came across as pretty generic and kind of "fake".

To be in the booth, you can't be afraid to rock the boat a little bit and ruffle some feathers because you have to call out players and coaches when they do something wrong.

Maybe he would get better with a more reps, but I'm not so sure. He was never really known for his personality or anything other than his play on the field.
