Jeff Duncan claiming on Twitter CSP would come back, but the Saints aren’t interested.

Duncan said he’d be stunned if CSP really wanted the Arizona job. Someone replied:

Well lets put it this way. I would take him back, but he would have to sign a new 5 year deal.
My fear would be that he would come back and coach in 2023 and 2024 and then decides that he wants to leave again and then the contract is done.
I could see a scenario where what ever team he is going to he would not want to then be instantly handicapped without picks.
Maybe He only really wants Miami, LA Chargers or Las Vegas and will come back until they become available,

And even then I wouldn’t be comfortable with him staying. Apparently this was the 3rd time he considered doing this. That 5 year contract would need to be rolling years. In other words, if he decides to step away after 3 years, he’ll have 2 more years regardless of how long he sits.

I don't think Payton would come back. He has been here 16 years. That's a long time and I think he is ready for a new start. Would I bring him back over the current idiot we have? 100%. Should have been fired mid way let alone given another year.
