If this is true everybody in the organization needs to be fired. If Payton wants to come back and you choose to keep Allen over him then you are incompetent.
I’m a Loomis fan but this is a fireable offense.

The problem is Louisiana media has no one has inside information. You hear it from Jay Glazer. It's true.

I'd take CSP back in a heartbeat. He's the definition of a sure thing.
I wouldn't even care if he stayed for just 3 years. That's 3 good years, then we're looking for a coach again.

I heard that he doesn’t want to sign an extension, so the Saints won’t bring him back for him to leave in two more years

This is not a case of pride or ego. It’s a case of cash. He will get $15-20M on the open market. The Saints will not be in that ballpark with a new contract.
Best guess is the Chargers. His daughter lives in LA, a great QB & large market.

Same here. Except the f@ck part.
Look I like CSP as a coach just not our coach. He blew that sh!t up in our face. Why let him do it again?

he's been backstabbing and sucking arse recently. lost control of team and turned his back on the fans and organization. frick him. show some emotion goat, have some pride. frick him.

Sean has had one foot out the door for years and if yall want to keep your head in the sand and be mad about us not wanting him back go ahead.
Posted on 1/12/23 at 8:59 am to Fun Bunch
Complete BS. The Saints hired Allen....let that sink in. You think they wouldn't want SP back if he wanted in?
Posted on 1/12/23 at 9:01 am to WhoDatNC
If Sean wants back and Saints refuse, is his contract terminated?

1) This is a crock of shite and Jeff Duncan needs to be ignored
2) This is true and everyone in the organization needs to be fired and Gayle needs to sale the team.
I'm inclined to believe the first option

He is getting fed bullshite from the Saints and Payton. As long as it dangles out there that CSP could go back to New Orleans it gives Payton and the Saints a little more leverage.

Saints need those picks they would get for him. Pretty much the ONLY way they get back into the first round without a Ditka-style nuking.

Don't believe one fricking word Duncan says, but IF this were even true, this would be the dumbest thing I've ever seen an orginzation make.
"Sean Payton wants to come back as HC? Yeah thanks but no thanks. We're good with Dennis Allen."

I would imagine the Saints would have some sort of protection against this exact scenario, whether a new contract or an addendum for years remaining, something.
Not that I see Payton willingly coming back to this dumpster fire that won’t be competitive for at least a couple of years. It’d just lower his value to other teams

Jeff Duncan is a hack. He is a complete fool.

I wouldn't want him back either. frick him. He can take Dennis Allen, Loomi, Thomas, Winston, and whoever else with him too. We need a reset start over as far away from the Payton era taint as possible. Thank you sir for the SB but now frick'em.

My biggest thing about this is that SP would openly try to push one of his best assistant coaches/friends out of his job. I can’t see him wanting to screw DA over.
