Jared Cook is coasting

He just wants his paycheck and go home. You see the laziness of his routes against the Chiefs? Past few weeks he's been non-existent. He doesn't care if he gets open or not. Last year Jared Cook was the man. Don't know what happened.

He seemed pretty frustrated on the sideline yesterday and made a hell of a TD catch in traffic a week ago
I agree he needs to make more plays though

He does lack consistency. He has all the measurables and he should be more productive. It is almost as if he still has a hard time grasping them complete playbook.

This is a pretty terrible opinion based off one drive. Lol

I wish that's all it was.
You are seeing his age as well. He used to be an athletic advantage and you took the good with the bad as it related to his skills and effort.
Now, he can't separate, and his effort is hit and miss. And, he drops a bunch of balls. He's done in this league, IMO.

Give Big Trout the ball more

I agree with the dropping balls and his effort being shitty but cook is plenty athletic
I dont think he liked drew coming at him
Id love to know why he was so mad. Id bet both my nuts that drew called him out for being in the wrong spot
Maybe drew was frustrated at the other receivers and went overboard

Maybe Drew yelled at him because we had shite at the other receiver positions while Cook is a vet and has been here for two years and keeps fricking up. He needs to account himself for messing up. Smh

There’s been a lot of coasting players on the Saints the last several years, some just part of the time. It’s become an acceptable attitude. Very puzzling considering you have some players bought in.
Hard to win a Super Bowl when you don’t have buy-in from all 53.

I think you’re confusing being lazy with just not being very good

Story of Jared Cook’s career.

Cook is lazy AF - hopefully he turns it up for the playoffs

The entire Saints team is coasting right now.
For the love of everything, win on Friday and you can mail that Jan 3 game in for all I care.

(Cook) Sustains concussion Sunday

San Francisco could not stop Cook and he was well on his way to leading the Saints to victory.
This was not the first time the 49ers have targeted a Saints star player to win a game.
Whitner knocked out Pierre Thomas in 2012 in the playoffs.
In 2010, the 49ers broke Reggie Bush's leg. He was laying on the ground, dead ball, and a 49er dove on the back of his legs.
When Cook was clicking other teams targeted him with late hits and 49ers successfully scored the shot that altered his career.
He is not lazy. His emotional outbursts and outward crying are an indicator of CTE.
I want the Saints to win, but Cook is a human being trying to play, but like
Luke Kuechly, it may be time for him to retire.

Cook suffered a concussion during Sunday's contest against the 49ers, Katherine Terrell of The Athletic reports.
On his second touchdown catch of the first quarter, Cook took a hit to the head from San Francisco cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon.
Cook made a brief visit to the sideline tent and then went to the locker room, after which the concussion was confirmed.
While Cook will be subject to the protocol for head injuries in order to be cleared for game action, the Saints are down to one TE (Josh Hill) on the 53-man roster.

Lowered his IQ from 77 to 75

If you look at the Raiders forums they had the same complaints about Cook when he was there. When he's on, he's one of the best in the game, but he checks out mentally way too often
