"unclear if he has met with Kellen Moore"

Assuming this is generally coming from David Carr, then I would venture to assume that Derek Carr has not met with Moore. Everything posed in the tweet is pretty squishy. This however is a “yes/no” answer that is easily called out by the saints if lied about; given that they’d certainly use this as a pro-Carr tidbit if true, then it hasn’t happened, and so you get “unclear.”

Just cut the bum already. He has a lifetime 46% winning percentage. Perfect 8-9 QB.

Were those reports credible?

I believe many credible reporters have confirmed this through "sources" close to the situation.
This started before Kellen Moore was even officially hired, giving the impression it had more to do with Allen than Moore (or a QB controversy)

Derek Carr isn't on any other teams' radar. If it wasn't for us he'd be a backup or retired. We are the only organization dumb enough to want him

If you could set aside your personal feeling you would see that you are incorrect. How much so remains unclear because Carr being under contract and having been denied permission to seek a trade has not had any team "officially" say publicly that they have interest in bringing him in.

depends. We just want to win. If Shough looks amazing in pre season and Carr starts there will be boos initially but if the Saints get out to a lead that will go away with the quickness

If Shough looks good in preseason but Carr starts and looks like shite then yes there will be loud boos every time he takes the field. I don't believe Kellen would leave him in though.

Anyone with common sense knows no one wants Carr. No one wanted him when we hired him.

Won't buy tickets if it looks like last year after Carr went down either
I finally gave up my Season Tickets (I've had since since 2006) because the organization is obviously interested much more in profit than in winning.

Loomis & Lauscha are two "L"s both literally & figuratively.

The crazy thing is the Saints spend to the Cap every year on personnel, just not productively.

So they spend to have a Cadillac and instead have a Altima.

No. He said he wouldn't take a pay cut because of what he put on tape.

Yea I bet the Steelers would love to roll out their playoff ready team with Mason Rudolph at qb instead of someone like Carr.

What a dumass statement.

IDGAF if he’s healthy or injured, I still don’t want to ever see him wearing a Saints uniform ever again. Just cut his arse and eat the stupid arse contract you have him Mickey and then doubled down on it and restructured when the guy didn’t even want to fricking be there! How Loomis still has his job should be a separate investigation in itself.

Think the hit is the same either way, iirc, so I hope they dump him now.

If they cut him post June 1 this year, he has a $59 million cap hit next year. If they IR his this year and designate him a post-June 1 cut next year, the cap hit is split over 2026 and 2027 (something like $19 million in 2026 and the remainder in 2027).

What’s the fricking difference, they’re both bums. If the Steelers were worried about having the best bum quarterback they would’ve just kept Wilson or Fields.
And they have Will Howard who will get his chance at some point this year. They’re focused on the future. Carr isn’t remotely on their radar. You know how I know that? Because the Steelers aren’t retarded.

You don't think they would take Rodgers or Cousins over Carr?
