It’s an opinion but it’s not the only way to looked at it. Lamar Jackson still plays QB last I checked. Taysom is a difference maker at QB. I hope he finds his groove and also Payton figures out the offense that succeeds w Taysom. Taysom is a peacock, you got to let him fly.

Money wise... likely. Jameis obviously values his opportunity to continue his development here. He’s keeping himself under one of the best offensive minds of the game w a hall of gamer just retiring.

100% sure he had an option similar to what Teddy has received.
The caveat is this, imagine he wins this year. He plays well, he puts up: 67 completion%, 4400 yards, 7.9 YPA, 28 TDs, 10 INTs
That's gonna be 30mil+ a year money

Based on? Based on what he saw last year he showed he could be a good backup. He went deep even less often then Brees while being more turnover prone. Unlike Winston who is also turnover prone, he’s not likely capable of a 400 yard passing game. He holds onto the ball too long and has horrible pocket awareness.
