Also saw that they had told him he would be starting 2 days before the game when Dalton already had the reps.

How does DA not get fired for that alone if true.

So not only did they play Jameis hurt. When they finally benched him they had also told him he wouldnt lose his job to injury which he ultimately did.

Jameis is a saint for not punching DA in his throat.

And i dont care about any potential Jameis vs Dalton debate. No one wins there

But there is a certain way to do things. We clearly chose chaos

Jameis sucked arse and lost us multiple games because he crumbles under pressure. He deserved to be benched despite any promises

I don’t care they both need to be gone. They can take Dalton with them too

I don't think that's the point of this thread as most believed he should have been benched but how it all was handled.

He should have been benched after he told Carmichael to "frickoff" during the Bucs game. But instead he started that disaster of a game against Carolina with DA knowing he was playing hurt.

What's the background on this? I haven't heard it. Why did he tell Carmichael to F off?

So you wanted him to go in. Start. Without a game plan. No reps for the week.

Yeah I'm not very fond of Jameis as a player, but good for him

Sure ! JW has to go. Just because he is a good team mate doesn’t mean he is a NFL QB. Guy is a turnover machine.

Really? As if he has always been such a great source for breaking Saints news. I will wait for confirmation from someone like Underhill.

I don't blame jameis. Dude was hurt, didn't get first team reps and then you want him to start on short notice in Pete's bullshite offense? I'm good

That’s kind of on the player and coach. If Allen saw he looked like crap in practice b/c of the injury, he should have been benched. But Winston ultimately is the only person who knows how bad the injury is and how much it’s affecting his play.

Winston sucks and has always sucked as a pro QB.

Allen sucks as the top guy but is a good coordinator.

I couldn't give a frick about either of them and their time here in their current roles.

Both of them can piss off.

If Dalton gets hurt the first play of the game, guess what he’s coming in with no first team reps anyway. He got first team reps in the preseason and has been in the offense for over three years. This shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

The Rams game was later in the year so he should have been a lot healthier than earlier in the season. Pussy move by Winston if he actually refused to play.

Can’t wait till next off-season when this entire shiteshow is cleaned out. Will be a slow sinking ship next year.

Jameis was given the starting job unearned during the preseason. He did not play preseason and he was anointed.

Then Jameis played poorly the first few games. It showed on the field and it showed on film.

Then Jameis did not work to correct his errors and his play was getting John Forcade like worse.

Thats a completely different scenario.

He was hurt in the preseason and missed a lot of reps.

Not wanting to be set up for failure doesn't make him a pussy.
