He signed a contract with the team. You shouldn't be able to just refuse to play.

Why's it surprising? Did you hear all the stories that came out on Allenw hen he coached for Raiders? He divided their locker room too. He's an awful fricking coach but somehow this organization think he's an answer.

Yes it does. You were one of the biggest crybabies for Winston. Now it comes out they tried to play him later in the year and he refused. This after months of him crying to the media how he lost his job from injury.
Sounds like he’s a puss and it definitely proves he’s not a leader and will never lead a team to a winning record.

While not disagreeing with the premise on Jameis, I believe he had a winning record the year Payton's wife put his balls in a jar on her cabinet.

He should have been benched after he told Carmichael to "frickoff" during the Bucs game. But instead he started that disaster of a game against Carolina with DA knowing he was playing hurt.
Jameis told pete to frickoff?
To me it was clear jameis refused to start. You could tell something happened between him and da.

If so more evidence of how inept this staff is. I don’t think the players have much respect for DA

Remember like 5 weeks in when Kamara told the media the team needed to be coached harder and held accountable during practice for their screwups? Remember in like week 11 when Allen said that they now needed to have a sense of urgency? He and Pete being the captains of the ship is a disaster.

Pretty sure Taysom and Bridgewater did as well.

He got first team reps in the preseason and has been in the offense for over three years.
Relax. He's only been in the league for 8 seasons. Remember, he'll be able to develop while continuing to learn from Brees and to be coached up by Payton. He probably just needs a few more seasons under them.

He was hurt in the preseason and missed a lot of reps.

Pussy move by Winston if he actually refused to play.
Not wanting to be set up for failure doesn't make him a pussy.
So what you're saying is he refused to play against the Rams because he wasn't able to get the proper reps before the game......but he was more than willing to start the season while not being able to get the proper reps before the game.

Can we get rid of both Jameis and Dalton along with Dennis?

Did 2021 never happen? You guys paint a pretty dumb narrative for jameis constantly. I think it's pretty obvious this story leaked out to make him look bad and probably has a lot more to do with the Saints trying to save face with how badly they managed him this year.

Funny how Jameis has a better record as a qb with less weapons for us than Andy huh?

There's a lot more to the story than what the tweet let's on. It's pretty obvious this is a story to help save face for the saints due to them bungling the entire Jameis situation.
