Tackles that run 4.65 40s aren't just "found" in the draft. He's got an invaluable skill set that other LT just flat out do not possess.

Why do we need a Tackle that runs a 4.65? How often do we need him to sprint 40 yards downfield?

Armstead may be the best tackle in the league when he’s healthy. The caveat… he’s never healthy.

It’s not his 40 time it’s his insane agility combined with almost perfect mechanics that makes him so damn good. He’s easily the best tackle we have had since Willie Roaf.

Lose him are not we have to go O.T. and O.G. or D.T.
First 2 picks which I hate but that's how u win. We need to pick up a good vet receiver, guard, and rb before draft.
Then maybe we go OT, WO, Dt first 3. Peat is glass also, Ruiz big?, Armistead?
We have some big problems right now.

We can just pretend he is hurt, as usual.

I think Peat plays LT and Throckmorton plays LG.

Most of Kamara's highlight reel plays are Armstead's too. He's fast enough to stay out infront of screens....when you're a screen heavy team, that's valuable.

Hoping he wants to stay here but it’s hard to turn that much more money down.

If he’s getting 17 million, how hard is it really to say no to 20?

Can’t say I expected a melt over Armstead.

I’m leaning towards seeing what Peat can finally do at LT. Hurst also played good at that spot. Thought he blew alot of blocks at RT though. I’d leave Ram at RT and best man win at LT.

Draft highest rated lineman or receiver round one and then the other round two…..

Been saying this all along. He can’t stay healthy

Offer him 20M a year in incentives maybe.

How? He missed half the games. Great "find" by the Saints & he was when he played.

Armstead , when healthy, is an elite LT.

However, Peat is also always hurt, and we have him tied up in salary cap.

The odds are favorable that Armstead will also get injured and tie up more of our salary. Meanwhile the left side is vulnerable

This draft is loaded with offensive lineman.

I rather take a chance on a tackle in the draft who's young and will not cost much, and get a veteran utility left tackle guy to back up.

Besides if Armstead left, good chance we can get a high compensatory pick next year

They will be lucky if he doesn't get hurt on the way there and miss the first 6 game.

No way we were going to pay him that much based off him always being injured 3 -5 games every year.

Penning feels like a Payton type pick. It'll be interesting to see if the team addresses this need in the first over, say WR or S.

I wouldn't pay armstead this yr but not all tackles can get out of screens and sweeps like armstead can.
