Scratch that… it’s Houston that has 2 and 12. My mistake

Any organization in their right mind IS NOT going to trade a top 10 pick for a coach. It's simply not going to happen, all this wishful "Madden video game" thinking just needs to stop.

Deuce, is that you?

we should flip it for Lamar Jackson

Yeah let's ship off the #3 pick for a guy that's either going to be a free agent or get paid 45m+ a year to play 70% of the season.

Id trade down and try to pick up Hooker later. He sure made a huge difference in his team.

I agree Chad. The top picks are not worth the same value when you are not drafting a QB.

Well technically you are right. If you use the current year value per pick chart, the #3 pick is worth 2200.

Now if you take the Gruden picks in the trade, which were spread over 3 years, of #s 21 (800), 32 (590), 33 (580) & 53 (370), they total 2340.

So yes those picks were worth more.

But that #3 sure seems valuable!

And in this case it does take three to tango like some B French movie.

Put my B in the wrong spot

Evidence would suggest you are correct. I hope they get saved from themselves here. I can’t have any confidence the next OSU qb would pan out.

There hasn’t been a lot of LSU QBs either that succeeded

Until there was

Stroud is a take imo

Dude, imagine Lamar coming down to New Orleans...would be sweet.

His game is built around his legs. Those hits add up, especially the older he gets and it's already showing.

Well, they had a guy transfer out of there who is doing OK right now.

I heard Drunken Bobby suggest that on his show 1-2 days ago

I wouldn’t hate it.

Just extremely unlikely for a variety of reasons

Hendon Hooker had a great year until he got hurt. And appears to be an excellent teammate. Travelled with the team to the bowl game to help shadow the backup QB.

If he heals up fine, will be a great NFL QB.

I agree and normally I wouldn't want an OSU QB either. CJ isn't relying on his legs, he's a passer ajd I think he's moldable.

People talking about getting picks in 24 sounds great but you have no guarantee it will be early enough. If you can get AZ #3 now you take it and Stroud.

My concern with 3 is now that the Texans won their last game, someone might trade up to 1 for Young. Texans have to take a QB. Both QBs could be gone before 3. We shall see.

I heard from some draft guys that looking at his film he only looks at half of the field so the offense was very simplified for him.
