If the Saints lose to 1-11 Carolina at home...will there be actual fallout?

You know the boo birds will rain down like fire from heaven in the Dome, and Gayle will not be able to ignore that.

There will be real bubbling over frustration with players (there already is).

Will there be "action" if that happens? ie, a firing of...someone?

I’m just going to say no because I’ve been expecting fallouts for weeks and they never come. Maybe something will happen in the offseason but it’s becoming clear they have no interest in doing anything uncomfortable while the season is ongoing.

I think they will let it fester until the season is over, unfortunately.

Speaking of fallout: Are the Saints' local broadcasts in jeopardy for blackouts next year? If DA continues to lose, but is still retained, will season ticket holders re-up and/or those on the waiting list decline?

The Saints have had the Dome sold out for so long (almost two decades, fortunately), I don't even know if blackouts are still a thing.

Allen finishes the season as head coach. He’s not getting fired mid-year this year. Non of the coordinators or assistants will be fired mid-season either.

The bigger question is if they let Allen come back next year after firing staff members. That’s my fear.

I don't think blackouts are a thing anymore and haven't been for many years.

Loomis himself should be relieve of any duties having to do with the Saints. He's just as big of an issue as anyone.

Yes, I have considered that.

I think she does not give a shite, but at a certain point it becomes about bottom line.

No.

Unless the bottom totally falls out from under this team down the stretch - which, lets be real, it's not going to - my guess is that Mickey gives Dennis one more shot with a few stipulations....new OC, and playoffs or bust.

This sounds awful, and I'm sick at the idea of being stuck watching this horrible team and Qb for another season, but there's some benefit. For example, the guarantees on Carrs contract are significantly less AFTER next season. Plus, DA is signed through next season. So if we just let them have one more season, we can likely move off both after 2024 and start fresh with a new QB and new coaching staff without having to do anything weird or waste a ton of cash

I think losing 1 of the next 2 will get DA fired.

But it won’t happen until the end of the season. I hope Jameis does us a solid and throws 3-4 picks so we can get DA out of here

Until Loomis stops calling the shots I just don't expect much in the way of moves this year or the next.

It's Advent season. She's hanging around her catholic buddies making sure they keeping their hands are in their pockets.

The only reason to fire DA is to sell tickets next season. We’re cap committed now for 2024 with some can kicking required to get under the cap (including Carr and Cam).

It’s setting up to be a 2-5 win team regardless of who the coach is.

The best move Gayle could make is move Loomis out of the GM role, but doubt that happens. Gayle is reminding me of Mecom type incompetence with her ownership.

Over under 30,000 season tickets next year with this model.
