If the Saints get a top-10 pick, who do you draft?

I would hope they look at Jayden Daniels from LSU. Kyper has Daniels rated number 8 as his 4th QB.

Who would you pick?

Jayden Daniels as a Saint. Now there’s an original thought. Certainly hasn’t crossed any minds here.

Jayden Daniels

He's likely pretty raw as an edge rusher, so he'd be a perfect pick for us.

Hate to break it to you, but we will be picking probably in the 13-16 range, DA will still be our coach, and he is going to pick a DE or DT that we all think is a reach.

Jayden ain't happening.

Joe Alt would be incredible.

After that, Maybe Latu, Latham, Turner, Verse, name your WR.

The first nine teams could all pick a QB. JD is not falling very far.

Way to think outside the box on this one. And thanks for clarifying he's the QB from LSU.

The real answer, unfortunately, is OT. Penning appears to suck at LT and Ram is washed. Fashanu or Alt would be the pick.

Saints have to find a way to draft a QB. It's the only way to get out of this Carr mess.

no they need a replacement for MT so i think they go WR with the first pick, but with this group of idiots running the show, we might take a kicker instead

Listen. There are two main absolutes that you can set your clock by come draft time in New Orleans.

1) The Saints (Mickey Loomis) will trade up in round 1 if there is even the slightest possibility of doing so.

2) The New Orleans Saints will not be picking a QB in round #1.

We will draft whoever has a history of injury regardless of position.

What is it about Caleb that has him so high on your list? I didn’t watch any USC games this year, so have no reason to believe he’s shouldn’t be. Just asking as I’ve been seeing thoughts of Maye or Daniels going ahead of him. Haven’t seen 1 with both over him yet.

Probably more wishful thinking, but if the “rumors” of playoffs or busts has any validity anywhere 18 or lower eliminates DA still being the coach

A Giants loss this weekend puts a nail 90% into the coffin

We probably beat the Giants, lose to the Rams, and split between Atlanta / Tampa Bay. Games will be close, but with all the injuries piling up, we will lose division in the last week. Allen will show Loomis how close they were to winning 2-3 games that they lost because of the offensive playcalling. They will both agree that Pete needs to go, and DA will finally be able to bring in his guy and run his vision of this team. We will subsequently win 8-9 games the following season, and Loomis will have no choice to but to move on from Allen.

Literally, the only reason he kept Pete on the staff was so that he can play the "bring in my guy" card and the injury card.
