I was all about Kendre Miller of TCU even coming off his injury but after the Pitt pro day I am now on the Israel Abanikanda bandwagon.

For the value, Dwayne McBride from UAB is an interesting prospect. Projected day 3 pick. Highly productive in college and a tough runner. Breaks a lot of tackles and has good contact balance. He’s not much of a pass catcher or wasn’t asked to do it in college.

Considering we signed Williams, and have Eno, I can’t see us drafting a running back with the other needs we have. It would be more likely we pick up an UDFA.

There are plenty of RBs in this draft. Spears would be good. We would need to pick up someone who can play special teams as he wouldn’t be a primary back.

Charbonnet out of UCLA. Runs hard with great pad level and has enough speed and wiggle to get through tight spaces inside the tackles.

I’d be content with any of the following:
Tyjae Spears - Tulane
Gibbs - Bama
Charbonnet - UCLA
Deuce Vaughn - Kansas State

I like Tyjae Spears. If he is there by the 3rd round you definitely pick him. Otherwise stick with addressing other positions like tight end or linebacker.

Eno isn’t the quality of player that keeps you from drafting another RB

I'm planning on head scratching picks and trade ups so I can be throughly surprised at the end of April to prove my expectations wrong.

I agree and I guess that’s why I’m getting downvoted. But this front office doesn’t seem like they type of office that drafts a RB late when they have guys like Eno and Washington to play special teams. It’s Boston Scott all over again.

That would be a stupid mistake then. Crazy good value to draft a running back this year in the later rounds.

Want Achane or Tank, but you can still get a really good one that will drop into day 3.

Almost every mock I’ve seen has Charbonnet going well before Spears and just before Achane.

Robinson will go in the first, possibly Gibbs, but mostly likely the 2nd. After that I think the rest will start going in the third at the earliest depending on teams preference.

Spears and Charb will go around the same area.

This board is infatuated with these small guys. Spears is a CEH type RB in the pros. Achane is 188lbs, he will need a very specific fit to really hit.

Would be crazy if we pick one of the top 3 TE's . Mayer, Kincade, or Washington.
