You wanting to draft a player because he had two good games at the very end of the season tells me all I need to know....

Think I trust drafting a player that had great tape for an entire season rather than a two game stretch. Which one sounds like the riskier option?

Murray is probably less risk. Queen has higher upside.

I agree. I think Murray is a solid player that could contribute right away but might not end up being a Deion Jones/Wagner/Kuechly

Whereas I think Queen would take some time, maybe only half the season, maybe the whole season before he became that kind of impact player and there’s also risk that he could never become that player. Queen has the upside. Murray has the safer floor

Murray and it's not even close.

He's my mock pick.

God you're still stuck on this two good games lie I see.

As seen on a thread in the rant, Queen had: huge 4th down stop against Texas, made big plays against Utah St, had the interception before the half against Bama. It's a total lie.

I’m not so sure Murray is less risk. Was made a fool against Kansas State as a seasoned vet. I’ll take the guy that is still learning. Plus it is a passing league and Queen is much better in that area.

Where's Tampa LB from? Where's Atlanta from? It's a no brainer you go with a Tiger.

I imagine how awesome draft would be if both are there and the Saints pick the other one.

Imagine the melt if both Murray, Queen, and Jefferson were there and the Saints drafted some jagoff like eason or fromm in the 1st round

Yeah a lot of people are saying Murray can't turn his hips fast enough to cover.

More realistically, if this happens and we take a guy like Austin Jackson for OL depth this place will explode. But I don’t think that happens

I'll never be pissed about OL depth as long as the value is there. Definitely don't wanna reach for an OL in the first.

Murray sucks in big games!!
Rewatch our Peach Bowl! He sucked!
Rewatch Bama vs Oklahoma year before! He majorly sucked!
Don’t see why people like him!
Will be a huge NFL BUST

Queen because of the upside.

Not part of the OP's question but to me the harder question would be Jefferson vs Queen.

I think you are drafting Murray or Queen to be a POTENTIAL starter, not a write-in starter, and are pleasantly surprised if they make their way into the starting lineup by the 4th game of the season. Neither is a top echelon guy (such as Simmons) coming out of college. They come with questions about parts of their game and their development could be delayed more than usual depending on how the NFL off-season is impacted by COVID.

Queen also played behind a really solid, amazing sie DL that allowed him to stay clean and run free for a lot of snaps. Murray not so much, especially in OOC games that have been referenced on here.

I would prefer Queen. But 24 is not a 2 horse race like so many are making it out to be.
