And Bijan Robinson is on the board they have to take him right? He would have to be BPA and it would make sense.

If the first 2 picks are not a DT and an OL I will not be happy.

He’s an excellent player. I do think we need to establish some kind of identity as an offense. Being a ground and pound team would probably allow us to win the division if we stick to it and open things up for Carr. That 5 years on a rookie deal could bridge us to our next era.
I’d rather us take the Charbonnet in rd two and get another player in rd 1 though. I think he will be an absolute stud as well.

Yes they would also draft Will Anderson if there at 29

Going to be some pissed people when Philly takes him with our #10 pick

The value for running backs is in round 3-4 of this draft. I’d rather get a d lineman and a te or receiver that drops to us in the 2nd round.

Why? Taking a RB that high is silly.

Of course, but that's also probably true anywhere from 20 up, maybe a bit lower. At some point, even in the first plenty of teams do not have a need that exceeds the chance to get a player that is that far below his value in the draft unless there is some issue all the teams know that is not public yet.

Not really. I think alot of people understand the RB is a devalued position and using a top 10 pock on RB wouldn't be very smart value wise.
If the Saints were picking #10 I would certainly not advocate picking him that high. Especially given the Saints relatively low usage rate of the RB they have now.

Yeah, but I think Id rather have Olave. Last year's trade wasn't really so bad.

Never take a RB in the first if you have other needs. First round RBs should be a leisure item. A cherry on top.

Depends on who else is there but he’s be hard to pass on. If a good DL was still there I would take them over a RB though.

Highly unlikely he will be there at 29, but if he is you take him.
Kamara will be suspended at best and if Jamaal Williams gets hurt, they will be starting people from Saints Talk at the running back position.

So pass on a great player to pick an ok player at a position of need.
Now that's a total Saints move.

Thats not what I said. There could be good players where we have a need. RBs don't last.
