I still think the Saints would have beaten Philly at the NFC championship game

That should have been Brees with the Lombardi trophy, not some fricking backup named Foles.

Err no way to know.

Eagles looked very, very good and finished.

I don’t. Eagles are a great team. Saints were too but a bit depleted.

Brees would have shredded that defense. Unless they stepped on their dick like they did in minny.

Sorry sir, but I disagree with you there. Saints were very good but the Eagles were great. Saints IMO would not have beaten the Eagles in Philly. If it had been in NO maybe so but not in Philly.

It would have been just like this game - very very close. But the Eagles are elite.

We had too many injuries. We were still a top 5 team with the injuries though. Not bad.

Hopefully we can have good luck with injuries in 2018, b/c our overall team talent should be better. We haven't had good luck with injuries in a long time though.

I would’ve liked to at least see the outcome, win or lose. Oh well, no one will ever know.

I think the Saints next year at 100% could beat the Eagles. Too many on the IR this season. Proud of the season.

I proudly stand by that statement still today. I will never wish for anything positive for the Falcons regardless of the implications.

It’s okay to admit that there were better teams in the league than the Saints this season. Just try to enjoy what the Saints did and are building and give credit where it’s due

I think so too but I don’t think the Saints would have beat the Pats. That Hail Mary would have been successful.

If we beat Minny, we were winning it all. We didnt though.

We need to be deeper in front 7. We also need 2 more pass catchers.

our O-line was pretty banged up by the end the season and I think the Eagles D-line would have exploited that.

I doubt we'd have been blown out like the Vikings were but what difference does that make really?

Proud of what the team did this year though. Winning eight in a row after a 0-2 start is admirable.

people ignore that Armstead tore up his groin even worse vs Minnesota and they exploited that in the 1st half.

Now imagine a line up of:

Ramczyk-Kelemete-Unger-Warford-Harris

or

Kelemete-LeRibeus-Unger-Warford-Ramczyk

vs Philly. No way am I excited about that.

If we were healthy, maybe.
We'll never know.
But I do know this will be a fun offseason being that we know we are much better now.

I certainly think it's more possible than most people think it was given the score of them vs philly.

That philly defense gave up 500 yards to brady, and a mental error or two early could have easily shaken foles confidence. Foles hadn't proven anything on the big stage at that point. In the super bowl he already had.

We lost the Super Bowl the moment Debo Jones went up and picked Brees off.
