Interesting prediction at QB. Must be based off the games last year that Taysom got QB1 duty over Jameis.

I really think they wanted to actually see him in meaningful QB1 action, with 5 years of NFL film on Jameis already. Curious why they restructured him to save money and add voided years instead of extending his contract if they felt good about him at QB1.

I personally think Jameis starts week 1 and continues to start until we get a 3-4 INT game. Taysom keeps his Swiss-Army knife role and the offense cruises.

Edit: even after the draft, seeing DT, LB, and CB depth on paper is still worrisome. Hope the young unknowns step up big

I think LB is alright considering they will probably continue very rarely playing more than 2 LBs at once.

DT looks thin but they have 8 d linemen who will get snaps and they will play 3 defensive ends at once a lot.

CB looks rough. Oldest player on team who is often injured P Rob and a 3rd round rookie who didn’t play last season. Yikes.

I am convinced Payton figured we could win the three games Taysome started without Jameis. He did this to avoid Jameis looking good and having a price tag to high to sign.
