the good thing is if the Saints find themselves back in the top ten of the draft it will be a good class to possibly get a QB if Shough has an average season

I don't think we'll have a losing record but I don't know about very good right now.

If nothing else the Saints for the first time in years are interesting.

I cant imagine any football fan of the Saints not excited to watch this offense develop from week 1-idk what it is anymore...18-19? 2 byes/17 football games who knows where played.

Even at the end of the Drew years we didn't have High end WRs or TEs we had MT before the brain Dementia offset by CTE along with bipolar bitch syndrome and if lucky Ben serviceable Watson pre Fleener or that scrub the Rams game we wanted to develop.

TE: Johnson/Fant/Delp

Call me crazy but id call that an upgrade over anything we have had in years

Don't get me started at WR
Tyson, Lance, Brown, Vele, Polk, Palmer, Big Poppa Pump Lite added to Olave

OL
1st Rounders
LT, RG, RT
Biggest Caps
LG, C

Become a unit. Frick Ruiz. If someone can beat him out please do it.

QB
Shough. He showed some good stuff IDC who the competition was and he did it with nobodies. He was playing with the replacements.

Bottomline: I think this team could surprise. We have deficiencies but those can be disguised during the regular season enough for us to be competive enough to win division. Won't go far in playoffs if granted access. Maybe one win...at home for winning division but you know NOLA would show up for that

Defense has some issues and could be our achillies heel. You dont replace a Demario. You can probably replace a Cam. Secondary still needs another dude.

I feel better about the O-line, but Fuaga needs to be better. I think if the Saints can get a running game going more consistently, he'll be fine.

But there were too many games whether it was Rattler or Shough when it was a negative game script and the pass blocking folded. It would do that to any team who had no choice to throw. If the Saints aren't a better first quarter team this season, they might have trouble beating 6-11 from last year.

Don't dig yourselves in a hole

I hope Shough is the real deal and also hope our DBs dont suck arse. If these 2 spots are great, we’re going to be a very tough team to play each week.

I could see a 10-7 season possibly if the injury bug doesn’t wipe half of the team out.

I predict we go 10-7 and either win the division or make the last playoff spot in the NFC and lose in the wildcard round.

Take over 7.5. I'd bet division winner right now or after week 2. If we lose to Detroit and Baltimore I'd pound the division winner because the odds will be at an all time high.

A lot of pieces need to come into focus, but the ingredients are there in offense. Defensively, if we can generate decent pressure and stop the run, they will be more than good enough to hold teams to 24pts.
