The coaches should bench anyone and everyone who isn’t playing up to par. You got 7th round picks in the nfl coming out and playing at high levels. It’s up to each man to better himself and accept the coaching. Instead of trying to fight everyone maybe he should have been working on his technique? Idk if he gets benched and if he does for what reasons, but coaches don’t bench players who are playing well unless it’s some kind of Antonio Brown type situation. I’m not a DA fan by any means but I do trust the coaches enough to make this decision.

If hes healthy and not practicing with the ones- he’s definitely benched. And honestly I don’t care. The oline overall needs to play better and if this helps them and stunts Pennings development so be it. Its a gamble for sure because Pennings confidence will take a huge hit but DA trying to win games here more than help players develop. Also not even sure this will help the oline as all of them at some point have played like shite.
