36 turnovers. Every time he pulls a Jamies the D goes back out on the field.

I got to watch for far too long

I'll take 40 TDs and 12 int and however many fumbles. All day evey day with Jamies u just never knew what u got from week 2 week. West coast trips expect picks. That's where he was really bad. Worst part is he always has 1 or 2 reall great games

18 less is a big number btw

didnt Brady have a terrible INT year under Arians?

Why make up shite to try to defend JW? Brady had 12 picks. He had 8 last year, and 11 the year before. Winston had 30.

Tom Brady under Arians -- 40 TDs 12 INTs

Jamies Winston under Arians -- 33 TDs 30 INTs

Wasn’t it also said Brady took over the offense? As in he had a lot of say in the play calling?

Palmer and Luck did have big turnover years under Arians the first season though

Your ability to type a coherent sentence isn't very tall.

They both had 28 turnovers but both also had significantly fewer yards and TDs.

yeah man, we're gonna be in a lot of shootouts... which obviously isn't great for a guy with INT problems... but as I've been saying for months, no one knows, and anyone who says they do (Boudinguy, or whatever, I'm looking in your direction) is full of shite

Honestly I’m kinda curious to see how much he thinks the eye surgery helped. Dude would squint like Mr Magoo.

It's a classic sports story really.

The guy could not read a street sign before the surgery, FWIW.

Brady struggled last year at the beginning of the season because Arians wants to push the ball down the field all the time. Brady threw long and into double coverage because that was the play call.

Plus a lot of his other TOs were fumbles in the pocket trying to get people downfield.

I think Payton can develop a short game to compliment his skill set.

If there’s a coach that can get the best out of him, it’s SP. I mean, he saw him twice a yr. so obviously he sees something that you don’t.

Peyton was a great QB because he used his brain to unlock NFL defenses and unleash his own NFL offenses. IF Peyton can also be a great teacher and mentor for Jameis Winston, JW can be a winner.

It's great news that Peyton has decided to take on that role. When did the Saints hire Peyton Manning?

One of his worst tendencies is patting the ball right before throwing it. Fix that and a nice chunk of the interceptions will vanish.

I think we all will be thanking the football gods that the entire league basically canceled Winston after 2019. Amazing that such a great talent would go down so far so fast after 1 really bad year.
We will see who was right Payton or the rest of the league. As much as I hate Payton ego at times, I think he is going to hit with this decision big time. With our line, Kamara, Murray, Thomas, Harris, Callaway, Adam and Taysom our offense will be badass.

We could also still pick up another really good wideout free agent. We have as much talent on offense as we’ve ever had and as good as any team. Remember with Brees teams really didn’t respect much past 20 yards and they also didn’t have to worry much bout the deep out patterns.
Brees needed the line to open the middle for his field of vision because he was rather short. Brees wasn’t that good on the run either. Think bout it, with all our short comings we still had a good offense because of Drew’s greatness. Father Time caught up about 2 years ago. With Winston the entire field is in play now.

I realize he might not have the anticipation or short range accuracy of Brees but we should have a much improved offense with all the positives I listed above.
