Did the saints play the whole season in Baton Rouge post Katrina? I can’t remember.

Half was played in BR, other half in San Antonio. Rumor is Benson almost moved the team to San Antonio but the Commish at the time stepped in and nixed it.

1 home game in New York, 3 in Tiger Stadium, 4 in San Antonio

The Tiger Stadium games were dreadful. Hot as frick, limited concessions, terrible team, empty seats.

The Saints are already practicing at Jerry World. The Cowgirls play at Tampa next Thursday so Jerry World could be available for the Saints-Green Bay game that Sunday.

Also fanbase completely different.
It was different for sure.
Wasn’t awesome like everyone thought it would be.

First 4 are 100% going to be relocated.

Easily the NFL will make us go to Green Bay Week One. The others not sure.

100% huh?

If you are declaring right now that the November 7th game against ATL definitely won’t be played in the dome , you are just being a dildo.

The Green Bay game should not be played in Green Bay. The NFL should not put us in that type of competitive disadvantage. It should be held at a neutral NFL stadium at least. Anyone remember that “home” game after Katrina in NY? That was ridiculous.

Was lurking to see what the status would be for our week one matchup and per Payton, it's not going to be in GB

Sean Payton said he’s unsure of condition of Superdome but expects #Saints to open season against the #Packers possibly in NOLA but with a Plan B for game site. He says game will not be relocated to Green Bay.

Well thats good news.

Also yeah my bad for some reason I thought we had 4 home games relatively early in the season this year.

That would be putting it mildly.

As much as I despise Jerry World, playing against Green Bay there opening Sunday seems like the easiest option. The team is already practicing there & the Cowgirls are at Tampa that Thursday night so it is open. Both Houston & ATL are both at home opening weekend so those two are out.

My dad and I went to the Saints vs dolphins in tiger stadium that year, saban was the coach of Miami. Besides that, it was a very forgettable game. I remember it being very hot and us losing thats about it
