Saints took a project in the second round of the 2014 Draft. Stanley Jean-Baptiste was an absolutely bust while Jarvis Landry is an all pro every year.

And now here we are with the Saints reaching again taking a far from sure bet to make up for the Davenport who was yet another in the cutesy line of dumb reaches Payton and Loomis have made. Meanwhile Marshall from LSU was there for the taking.

And all we've heard is the need for someone opposite Mike.

Payton and Loomis are so dumb and stubborn with this shite.

I would bet Marshall will be a multi-year all pro while this 1st round pick will be out of the NFL within 5 years or less.

Time will tell. But I'm going to go out on a limb and trust Loomis and Ireland over some Tigerdroppings poster.

I can understand some skeptics of the pick (I have some myself). But the OP is furious not because the Saints took this guy, but because the Saints took this guy AHEAD of an LSU player...which is a mortal sin!!

SJB was a bad pick, but imagine the melt if they drafted Cooks & Landry with their 1st 2 picks

There it is

Y’all need to stop with this shite. There are better WRs left that aren’t named Marshall.

On top of that, with the proliferation of 7 on 7 & modern day spread offenses, there has never been a larger amount of solid WRs coming out of college. There will be comparable players in the 3rd & 4th Rd if they want that.

I’m not going to say Marshall stinks, he’s a good player, but damn, you would think he’s Randy Moss by the way some of you mouth breathers talk.

With Drew leaving, the Saints needed to pick someone to move the needle for the fans and keep them engaged. This guy ain’t it.

I won’t be watching crab legs and co. this year. I have better things to do with my weekends

Besides the top 7 or 8 picks who would have been that guy in this draft?

Are you upset we didn’t trade up for fields or Mac

First of all, it’s Terrace. Secondly he’s a great player that has home-run speed. Third, an LSU player would bring more eyeballs to the screen in Louisiana.

It doesn’t even have to be terrace though, I’d settle for just about anyone aside from another non-power 5 injury prone DE project who’s biggest selling point is measurables and potential.

So the Saints should pick more exciting players for you so you won't watch them?
