Shaq is from Newark, bruh.

Bruh, he played HS ball in San Antonio.

But regardless, beloved Louisiana athletes aren’t from Louisiana.

Burrow is more beloved than Brees at a state level.

Shaq is from Texas and played for franchises everywhere but Louisiana

He’s an LSU legend but Joe has a ring and plays football.

Lol.....only to lswho fans looking through their Biden glasses ...
When burrow donates over 50 million to the STATE, not just Baton Rouge ...then maybe he will be in the conversation...if you think burrow has surpassed Brees, you need to put the crack pipe down

Burrow is loved yes... but hes only been that way for about 3 years. Brees has been loved for 16.

Burrow is great... he will need to be great for long enough to beat out brees in louisiana popularity.

1. Not true
2. The state is 57% white.

Had Brees not bent the knee and put the thug's name on his helmet, he would be untouchable in Louisiana.

But he isn't great in Louisiana. Brees spent the bulk of his career In LA. Burrow doesn't give a shite about Louisiana.

False. Shaq had a ton of support when he took the magic to the finals. In some ways, i would say it parallels the current burrow situation.

No, he's a product of the moment. It appears that Burrow may be loved more than Brees right now because Burrow is still playing; as a result, there are people following his career, rooting for his success... If Brees was still playing and the SB was Cincy v Saints; there would be a decent percent saying they didn't care who won, but majority would be pulling for the Saints.

Not an LSU fan, not from Ohio, not a Bengals fan, give 0 fricks about Burrow outside of liking them upsetting the Chiefs.

Make sure you tell them he once led the Fighting Tigers to a 29-0 defeat, at home, to Alabama.

Talk about walking on water.

So you're saying Nick Saban losing to Louisiana-Monroe at Bryant Denny negates his legacy as a great college football coach? And that means that people won't talk about him like he walks on water?
