frick Burrow... I'm a Saints fan and he don't play for the Saints

This is the way. I can understand pulling for certain teams in the playoffs if the Saints aren't in the playoffs, but to act like a player on a different team is more loved than the greatest Saints player ever? If Burrow played for the Saints then he would have a chance to surpass Brees eventually, but he doesn't.

In the state of Louisiana, I guarantee you that more people are fans of LSU as opposed to the Saints.

And this coming from a lifelong Saints fan who grew up in the New Orleans area and as an LSU graduate.

Case in point. The state is also full of bandwagon Bama fans.

LSU is not the ENTIRE state of Louisiana!!!! Typical LSU fans think the entire state is centered around them. Believe it or not there are multiple colleges throughout the whole state. How many pro teams are in the state? I'll sit back and wait on that one. I for one hate LSU because of the fans

Make sure you tell them he once led the Fighting Tigers to a 29-0 defeat, at home, to Alabama.

Talk about walking on water

And then tell them how he came back the next year, led his team into Bama and posted the most points against Bama in 4 quarters in the history of Bryant-Denny Stadium to snap their 31-game home winning streak to win The Game of the Century II on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy by the widest margin in history before having the first 15-0 national championship season in SEC history.

According to social media, There is an ad right outside the SuperDome. Bengals colors, rooting for Joe.

I think the answers the question.

Now of course this will lead some people to root against Burrow, but who are they?

Brees squandered a great deal of admiration nationwide when he paid homage to a rapist.

It’s not just burrow, it’s the combination of burrow/chase that is fun to watch.

I mean ive always been a Who Dat. I guess i started really paying attention to LSU in high school (early 2000s) and i love the program. I am from the NOLA area so what Drew means to us....especially what we were going through during Katrina with all the death and homelessness and overall hopelessness....Drew and Sean gave us something to root for. To take our minds away from the shite situation we were all in. I dont expect Louisianans not from that area to completely understand that, but 16 years of having those guys around. Its been great. I love Joe and I hope he burns the NFL down (except when he plays the Saints lol) Drew will always be my favorite. He didnt have to come to the city....it was a disaster. He chose us. And did the impossible most thought....win a title and turn New Orleans into a winner. And we will always be grateful for that.

In 15 years I think they are about equal but at this very moment I'd go with Burrow for the obvious reason that he is still playing and the 2019 championship is still very recent.

Brees put in a lot more years here though. Who knows if we ever see one like him with the Saints again.
